So many ppl just change out the whole pump when it fails, good tip on getting replacement switches👍 A complete replacement head costs less than 40$ and its basically a new pump, i keep a spare in my tool box..

Good video, I think the second half is why my system broke previously. I have since purchased 2 new pumps; one as a backup. I think when I replace that top piece on the original one it should work. If you did a short video on 17:50 that would be helpful too.

Hi, I just want to say I really like your youtube channel. It been very helpful and educational. I have one question about this unit. Does it need a accumulator unit? I see some companies that have it installed on their 12v softwash system.
@Spraywell3 жыл бұрын
no accumulator necessary.

Hi mate what pump is that? And does it have a switch and relay? Thanks Edit I see it has an on off switch, but does it have a relay somewhere in the wiring ?
@Spraywell3 жыл бұрын
on/off switch yes, only the 7 GPM pumps have a relay. all the models have a pressure switch which toggles the pump on or off, it will run until max pressure it reached & then turn off until you pull the trigger again.
@rabbitskinner3 жыл бұрын
@@Spraywell thanks mate, is the relay built in or will I have to wire it up . I ordered a 7gpm this week

How much for this again? I’m starting a side business and am tired of pressure washing houses with a pump up sprayers 50/50 bleach and a ladder then rinses it off.

Is this for all 12v pumps? I have that pump but 7gpm. And from the day I got it, It never is consistently on when spraying. It doesn’t turn off and on as quick as your demonstration, but it runs then takes a brief paise.
@Spraywell4 жыл бұрын
most diaphragm pumps have a way to make that adjustment
@caseybritton3764 жыл бұрын
JN Equipment and I should be priming my pump each time I go to use it? And to do this I simply just take the tip off and pull the trigger until my chemical starts coming through the line ?
@Spraywell4 жыл бұрын
@@caseybritton376 Yes and Yes. Anytime air enters the system (usually indicated by weak spray), you need to prime your system. Priming is simply the act of getting the AIR out of the system. The easiest way to prime is to simply pull the trigger. I like to pull and release the trigger in series to get it going.

Watched while video. Great info. What’s the best hose to buy that doesn’t kink or twist up. I have a hose that came with a bronco delux from norther tools and it was all twisted and took me 20 mints to wrap around hose reel.
@Spraywell4 жыл бұрын
I use this hose: www.jnequipment.com/shop/contractor-equipment-accessories/soft-wash-equipment/soft-wash-hoses/1-2-orange-ag-soft-wash-hose-200ft/ . For 4 GPM units I suggest 3/8 hose, any larger than that you MUST use 1/2 inch hose for proper results.
@kevinwheeland61295 жыл бұрын
2:19, why 10 seconds on trigger, 10 seconds off trigger? My thinking would be just hold down the trigger? I am new to this.
@Spraywell5 жыл бұрын
It's possible for water bubbles to get trapped in different areas because they naturally want to rise against gravity (just like air bubbles underwater move up towards the surface). By cycling on the trigger it makes the flow start and stop & start and stop which can help dislodge any trapped bubbles. Bubbles of air can get trapped in the diaphragm pump head (common), in the hose(common), and in other areas like the hose reel manifold (less likely).

Hey man love your stuff. What size hose should I use for a 5.5 gallon a minute pump or a 7 gallon or 4 gallon? I don't know if a 5/8 or 1/2 inch would be best and I've herd story's of the size of hose wearing out pumps

JN Equipment it would be cool to see the difference in your systems, There seem to be a few of them.. one for about 1000.00 bucks, I believe it’s a 4 or 5 gpm. Or maybe a video on how to soft wash a house with this. So many soft wash videos just show roofs and not houses.. I do allot of power washing and would love to use a system like this. What’s the best method to rinse off the house after applying your mix with a system like this..thanks for the quick response and will shoot you an email. Do you also sell different chemicals? Sorry for the amount of questions that I asked..

After you clean it out, do you leave the clean water in the line until you use the unit again? Or do you flush it all out and leave nothing in the line?
@Spraywell5 жыл бұрын
It's ok to leave water in the system. Water won't cause any issues BUT if you do leave water in the system make sure to DE-PRESSURIZE the system by pulling the trigger and relieving any trapped pressure. So the take away is: you can leave water in the system, but you cannot leave the system with trapped pressure. pull the trigger and relieve the pressure before storing.

Is there any warranty system you guys provide from the house?
@Spraywell4 жыл бұрын
unfortunately we cannot offer a warranty due to the fact that this is designed to pump bleach/SH which is extremely aggressive. But I have never hung a customer out to dry and usually work with people even if they have issues which they may have caused themselves (usually from not flushing it out properly)
