Welcome back Joakim.... I left the church at 24 bumped around, here n there, was lost. Met my girlfriend, who's now my wife at 27. She was a staunch Buddhist. A caring n loving girlfriend, she encouraged n accompanied me back to church. I hv never looked back. We got married at 29. I'm now 59 years old with 5 children and my wonderful wife got baptised n is a Catholic. God works in Mysterious ways ❤

I still enjoy life’s journey with God, to me He’s the loving and wise Father/Daddy who’s always there for me, giving me hope, strength, peace, direction, comfort and miracles. All He asks is that we put our faith in Him, receive His love wholeheartedly and follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ✝️

Thank you for this video and thank you for your honesty and vulnerability ❤️ so hopeful to see videos like this and such honesty :”) Thank you for sharing your journey and inspiring so many! It’s what we all need to hear as well :) The truth is many of us aren’t perfect well we all aren’t and as humans, we hurt others not intentionally. And many people have left church because of wounds and hurt from ppl but really church is all about Jesus. Personally Even as Catholics/christians, I think many of us forget that church should focus on JESUS and recently its been more focused on people, of course people are important and community is important, I also think so as well. But not to forget, to give glory and to remember it’s all about Jesus :) To the topic of acceptance… Being accepted for being who we really are , it’s what everyone desire , we all just want to be accepted for who we really are! :) and as Catholics, being a child of god, finding our true identity :)finding our true purpose in life too is what we search for! It’s okay to have questions, it’s okay to not agree with everything, may we all walk by faith and not by sight in all of this :) “ to humble yourself and we are all sinners, and Jesus died for our sins. “ we don’t deserve his love but he just still loves and we don’t need a reason why so thank u JESUS

What was the school? I had no idea how many Catholic churches there are in Singapore....google says 32 with 50% of the members attending regular services.

Kids are ruthless due to instinctive tribalism, Joakim just suay because he is the only one of his race in his class. They will always pick on the odd one out, different race, different country, can't speak common language, clothes don't look as clean, single parent family, etc. Doesn't matter if your child receive the proper education and empathy, peer pressure will either make them do it or stand idle by. That's why so many parents get shocked when they get a call and find out their "little baby" turned out to be a bully or took part in bullying, some would be in such a denial they start victim blaming until video or pictorial evidence gets shown to wake them up.
