As a Chicagoan who has grown up in the post Jordan era, I can say without doubt that Joakim Noah is one of the most influential sports figures in Chicago of this century. Him Derrick rose and luol deng are beloved here and would run through a brick wall for this guy. He played like he was one of us and we recognized and greatly appreciated that.

Joakim Noah was the epitome of a hard-nosed, point center! Honestly, with the lack of vets, Joakim should still be a leader for any franchise.

Matt has turned into a really, really good host and moderator. As a hooper he was a dawg but as a host there’s a calmness to him that he brings which is underrated to him. Stephen Jackson brings the comedic relief. Keep up the great work guys! I want all the smoke! 💨🏀 #AllTheSmoke

I was there at united center when Noah retired. It was bulls vs knicks and it was a party!! It was packed, traffic like a mf but it was a great time. Rose got in the game and we started chanting MVP anytime rose got the ball. To hear bulls gave Noah cheap liquor is typical Jerry reinsdork hospitality smh so disrespectful. Rose is a real one for throwing down for his boy. They better not pull that shit for Derrick retirement or we will riot!

Even though Noah wasn't the best basketball player he ALWAYS played hard and was the BEST teammate. I respected that Florida team for coming back and getting that back 2 back. Especially Corey Brewer who's family was really poor, but he rode with his brothers to get the second chip Like myself Noah was a big Lenny Cooke fan and i know thats one of the reasons he wasnt crazy about Lebron because LeBron bumped him to become the king at ABCD Camp .
