I miss her entertainment work an awful lot. It’s nice to see here in 2000 with the less plastika look than she weirdly became invested in. She looks like herself only refreshed. She literally died from another type of procedure years later in 2014. Her work was not only hilarious but true comedy warts and all. RIP

Joan was funny when she started out and would appear on Carson or Ed Sullivan. Late in her career, when she would do red carpets (which seemed to be all she did at the end) I couldn't watch her. It seemed that after 100 facelifts she just got nasty and mean. Phyllis Diller was funnier, and she didn't have to be at someone else's expense.
