And Suzy put Joni on such a high pedestal that she ended up being duped and blinded when it came to the SA. Joni's power and clutch were so powerful and strong that they succumbed to it all. Remember they are ALL employed by Daystar even Suzy's parents! So much at stake. May God protect and provide for them because Jonathan and Suzy did the right thing carefully going public! So true! It really grieved my spirit when Shane Winnings of Promise Keepers publicly was critical of the timing of Jonathan leaving Daystar! This is very disappointing to see all the ppl revealing their hearts as they stay silent. At least a statement would be nice, regarding the SA of a child! Suzy also was SA'd and it's sad to see how little ppl care. This is difficult as a survivor myself. I am praying for the Lord to reveal His heart for women and children, and vulnerable ppl in general. Bc I sure don't believe I am seeing it in the church. If a church being a safe place isn't top priority, I'm out.

I am so pleased that you talk about the impact of patents demanding absolute submission, obedience. It is like the parent being controlling, which is so wrong and inappropriate for adult children. By contrast, I thought I heard it portrayed on some episodes of Joni Table Talk that Joni encouraged their adult children such as Rebecca to hear God for themselves. It seems like one message on Television air and a conflicting and different actions behind the scenes

Indeed my sister walking in the light is one of the greatest gift of the cross. This includes repentance. It is a precious gift as it grasps your hand and brings you back to God. . It frees us from darkness. Thank you for your spirit led perspective. The core issue here is the child. She was 5# must be kept alive.
