Toned & Sculpted Isolation Shoulder Exercises for Women | Joanna Soh
When you think of Michelle Obama’s physique, what’s the most prominent feature, it has got to be her toned and sculpted set of shoulders.
A droopy set of shoulders tend to make the person look sluggish and lack in confidence. With strong shoulders, we stand a little taller, carry ourselves with a bit more confidence and this can boost our self esteem. Plus, you will also look good in any clothes you wear.
Here are 5 really effective shoulder isolation exercises that will give you a more rounded and lifted pair of shoulders.
1) Dumbbell Shoulder Press
2) Side Lateral Raise
3) Upright Row to Front Raise
4) Face Pull
5) Bent Over Reverse Fly
Complete 12 - 15 reps each x3 sets

Hello Joanna, this is Pramita Sinha, I am from India, I was 61kgs and after following your tips and some of my gym trainer tips I lost 16kgs and now I am normal I am 45kgs now. My height is 5ft. 3inches and age is 19. My question is how will I keep my weight stagnant? What should I eat and how much calories take in should be done in each day to keep my weight fixed so that no fat is induced? What are the excercises should I do ? How much calories is it necessary to burn daily? To keep my weight fixed?

Heey thank you so much for always putting understandable & quality videos!!!,i have a question for 2 years i's doing full body exercises but later had some health problems,surgery & stopped for 7 months,now want to start again but with your exercises,mostly belly,thigh & core one's but i have a question how to combine them the right way? ,like just do all of them in one go or different days or what?,also is it better to do everyday or every 2,3?,at what part of the day is the most effective & if i do it in early mornings is it better to eat or drink before or after?,i know you probably said those in some videos but i cant recall it,thanks!! Love you!!

But...the internal rotation of the barbell upright row though. May cause impingement of the shoulders. Either it does not apply to women or it won't affect us all in general if done minimally.

buy a resistance band,isn't so expensive and don't need many space.You can mount this anywhere

Try investing in a pair of resistance band. They are extremely affordable and with slight modification, you can perform all these exercises with the resistance band.

I just started following your videos. I really wanted to ask you about the yo yo effects after diets. I face yo yos . I don't gain like real fast but within 1 month or so. Watch out, Joanna Soh...the more educated and systematic Jeff Cavalier, Athlean X disapproves of the Upright Row and is condemned into the Iron Graveyard because you are impinging the shoulder through internal rotation that is a provokative position...unless his display of biomechanics do not apply to women that is. Your Face Pulls needs improvement where your hands must lead the way back rather than your elbows and do so in external rotation to engage the external-rotating Rotator Cuff muscles! Lastly, your Rear Delt Fly's are not enough because you could further activate the rear delt by bending your elbow to 90 degrees then squeezing back with your arms at the same angle away from your body. That way, you can handle much heavier weight and maximally activate the rear delts! You need to learn a thing or two from Jeff Cavalier, a top notch and one of a kind physical therapist and you have to incorporate external rotator cuff exercises or you will get the ladies to impinge their shoulders!
