“I’m not the final girl, you are”. Luckily I have already watched the film but Sophie spoiled it for those who caught it lmao

Saw it Saturday, it was awesome, Hugh Grant should make more dark/edgy characters!

While watching it I forgot there were pretty much only 3 characters in the film. Lots of tension.🙏🏿

Loved EVERYTHING about this movie! I haven't seen such an interesting horror movie like this, ever. Just the way and things Hugh Grant would say were very scary, his acting was phenomenal! The girls did a great job as well.

A well written story, with great dialogue can be far more haunting than gore fests. I think thats why i love the exorcist 3 above the others. The plot is far more nuanced

One of the best horror films of this century. Smart, suspenseful, surprising. Doesn't rely on cheap jump scares or excessive gore (not that i mind either of those things).

I really do not like how people pigeonhole A24 as a "Horror Movie" Studio. Could people just stop doing that and see this incredibly versatile studio as a kaleidoscope of different genres? Ex: Lady Bird (Family Drama); Eighth Grade (Coming-Of-Age film focusing on mental health); Spring Breakers (Neo-Noir psychedelic teen drama); The Spectacular Now (Teen Romance drama); Red Rocket (Black Comedy/Drama) This studio is rich with creativity coming out of its pores and I'm sorry (not sorry) but I snap at people who only focus on one genre that this studio distributes. And there are plenty of forgotten gems that almost nobody knows about. Anyone ever seen Wood Shock with Kirsten Dunst? Check that one out if you want to see a trippy Neo-psychedelic Drama directed by a couple of fashion designers.

The actors were wonderful in this movie which is a very thoughtful and strong film until the final third . Too bad it doesn’t stick the landing.

Hi, hey you guys, I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and WE DO NOT like it when you say “Mormon”. Mormon was a prophet in the Book of Mormon. Mobsters in the 19th century called us “Mormons” because of the title. Just call us “The Church of Jesus Christ”. Thanks! I will see the movie, by the way. 😊👍🏻

What's your belief in polygamy?
@johngleue12 күн бұрын
The Book of Mormon is essential to your beliefs, and that separates you from other Christians. People package knowledge up into concepts, and the simpler, the better. I'd argue that the term Mormon wouldn't offend anyone at all if there wasn't such a stigma surrounding their specific beliefs. A stigma not even based on misunderstandings or lies but based on the actual contents of the Book of Mormon and the controversies surrounding it's author, Joseph Smith. Given enough time anything a group like this ask to be called will gradually become offensive because the concept will eventually be properly understood and the stigma will ultimately follow. People may think they can change facts by shifting around the language or label they go by but no rebranding will change the facts about who someone is or what they believe. Mormon isn't inherently offensive, what Mormons are offended by is the stigma that comes along with the label. A stigma that is justified and based on the truth of their belief system.

President Hinkley actually encouraged the use of the name Mormon in his campaign: I'm a Mormon. But then Russell M Nelson, the new President, disagreed and changed it.

As Gordon B. Hinckley said, quoting Joseph Smith, "Mormon means More Good." Thousands of my tithing dollars and billions of the members tithing dollars went to the "I'm a Mormon" campaign. "Mormon" is a-o-k.
