No commerce jobs are in the 82 prioritized occupations list and won't qualify for category-based Express Entry draws with lower CRS cutoffs. This means that these commerce occupations belong to all-program Express Entry draws with high CRS cutoffs (511, 505, 517, 496, 531, and 504). Your best bet is to find a province with easier PNP (not Ontario and Quebec). You need to do some research on PNP requirements. Choose a province for study, then coose a college.

Good video, many students don't want any struggle. They want easy life. Life is never easy. You have to overcome challenges, work on skills to survive and thrive Work on time management, people management, stress management. Some where down the line the onus is on parents as well. They pamper kids which leads a child to be lethargic. Yuo need to fight to survive and excel. Life is allabout struggle.

Your information is correct. The magic date is 7th Oct 2022. She needs to be in Canada by that date with her study permit; or applied for her study permit by that date and waiting for approval.

You need prerequisites: English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry. For SDS, IELTS Academic overall score of 6. Apply a college for 2-yr Practical Nursing diploma to get Letter of Acceptance. With SOP, proof or fund, and other documents ready, apply for study permit in IRCC portal. After graduation, apply for 3-yr PGWP. Study and pass NCLEX exam to receive LPN (or RPN in Ontario) license with the province. With license, apply for LPN jobs in hospitals. After working 1 year, file Express Entry. It is for same process for Nursing (RN), except that it is a 4-yr Bachelor degree in university.

@@safactssurajagrahari3001 Most Indians study 2-yr Practical Nursing diploma to become LPN first. After getting PR, they complete a bridging program to become RN, paying local resident tuition rate. If you are financial able, you can attend university and complete a 4-yr nursing program to become RN; but 4 years of international student tuition rate is a lot of money.

The occupation is regulated by province. Each province is different. You should check out the province of your choice to see if there are any red tapes for licensing or certification. Also, check out the PNP requirements of the province. PNP affects immigration. The all-program Express Entry draws had very high CRS scores (511, 505, 517, 496, 531, and 504). You won't get over 500 without the help of PNP.

@@gameking818 In the past, immigrants stayed away from commerce jobs because English is not their mother tongue (i.e. not their strength). They studied STEM fields. If you have good communication skills as good as the locals, please go ahead. I recommend studying in provinces other than Quebec and Ontario. Accounting is a good field.

Avoid Brampton, Ontario. Ontario PNP (OINP) is more difficult than other provinces' PNP. IRCC announced 84 prioritized occupations in 2023. Since the end of June, IRCC has been conducting category-based Express Entry draws based on prioritized occupations and French language proficiency. (1) Choose your occupation and study wisely; (2) Decide on the province for easier PNP; (3) Choose your college based on reputation and tuition (making sure it is DLI and program is PGWP eligible).

Civil Engineer is a 4-yr Bachelor degree in university. Because Canadian undergrad programs are CEAB accredited, upon graduation, you become Engineer-in-Training. Work under the supervision of Professional Engineers for a few years. Study and take Professional Practice Exam (PPE). Apply for Professional Engineer with the province to get P.Eng. license. The 2-yr college diploma gives you engineering technologist or technician, not engineer. There is a big salary differential between engineer and technologist.

@@mickythepom9489 Nursing is in demand for all provinces. You just need to decide on RN (4 year Bachelor degree) or LPN/RPN (2 year college diploma). Avoid Quebec because it requires French test for nursing licensure. You choose a college based on % of students passing NCLEX exam in first try. This is public information. In Ontario, look for "CNO Nursing Registration Exams Report".
