I don't know how to say this, but all I wanna say is I am grateful that I found this channel. I never knew that a windows server is an operating system, and it must be on a machine of its own. I have a laptop, but i've always wanted to practice using that client-server thing. In fact it was hard, I had no clue how to do it. Sir, from the bottom of my heart I wanna say Thank You! You just made me fall in love with IT. I am studying for my A+, and this knowledge I am getting from you is something that it is not taught in A+, adding all that together should be enough for me to get my feet wet in the IT world. Thank you sir, Love from Miami, FL.

I mean I’ve the basic but I’m feel like I know nothing about IT and always fear that I can’t work in real IT role. I started to learn a lot every year but always get a level that it becoming harder and I stop. I hope this time I can complete this helpful course till I got a job.

For Virtualization - After setting up the server, Do we need to install windows server and on top of that we install vmware or directly we install VMware on the server?
@JJFlores197 Жыл бұрын
VMware ESXi is the hypervisor. You install guest systems on the hypervisor like Windows Server. You can think of ESXi as the main operating system. The guest systems run underneath the host OS.

Hello, I have a question concerning the helpdesk level 1 as a new graduate, is there a database with all the technical problems to help the new graduates with little experience! Thank you for your time and answers!
@Jobskillshare Жыл бұрын
Hi, usually we don't use any specific site to learn about problems. The proper way is to learn how things are connected and then we learn about the networks and whatever is inside in correct learning format. Once you under how things are connected and how access is given then you will come across troubleshooting techniques which can then counter many problems. We might be using same technologies in many company but the products could be different which makes it impossible to create a single database for problems. I suggest you finish this training then you can take courses on our site or any other site to continue Upskilling. Thanks

Hello, if I finish this 4 day training play list will i be ready for a helpdesk job or will i have to learn from more videos?
@Jobskillshare9 ай бұрын
It covers many skills necessary for an IT support job, but job readiness relies on personal learning and various factors. Can you complete all of it and retain most of the knowledge? Will you feel confident during interviews? It's subjective and depends on your learning approach. However, in IT, continuous learning is essential for skill acquisition. Therefore, strive to cultivate a mindset geared towards lifelong learning and focus on building a strong resume to secure interviews. Thanks
@Jordan-ff6mc9 ай бұрын
@@Jobskillshare thanks for the reply, also one more question. Do you think it’s better to study the a+ and pass the exam first before trying to get a job. I feel like it will take me many months to study a+ material and I’m a slow learner. Is it possible to get a job just by watching these types of videos and using them as experience and just put studying a+ on the resume?
@Jobskillshare9 ай бұрын
@@Jordan-ff6mc Absolutely, it's possible! This is why we have created jobskillshare.org. For the past 10 years, we have experienced countless success stories of individuals who have landed jobs without official A+ certification. Even if you have A+, it will not guarantee a job. Moreover, even after landing a job, you will still need to possess the necessary skills for IT jobs. Try our free membership first, complete the IT support full courses for free, and utilize your home lab if you choose to do so. Thanks!

Is this course of IT SUPPORT free online ? Is IT SUPPORT working from home job as online ? Is it to fix and assemble the Computers I live in Illinois state.
@Jobskillshare10 ай бұрын
Usually, most IT support jobs may not include physical work such as fixing monitors or screens, as these tasks are mostly contracted to someone else or hardware companies. However, in some companies, you are required to move and set up equipment for users. Remote IT help desk jobs are also available; you just need to find them on indeed.com or other job sites. The education requirements will be the same; you will still need to know about computers and network operations to be able to help, even in remote jobs. You can start learning with free or paid access on jobskillshare.org

How do you teach others to be computer specialists if you can't even record a proper quality video?
@krakadylius12 жыл бұрын
This is just ridiculous. You don't put a pilot into cockpit and say that's how you gonna fly without learning everything from scratch. Same with IT. You need to learn all the basics and you trying to make them sys admins on the first day 😁😁😁
@Jobskillshare2 жыл бұрын
I don't think we are teaching SysAdmin skills here. This type of trianing requires a lot of resources and efforts to build a whole picture before learning the basics. After a user see how AD is created it makes it easy for them to know how company networks are connected. I know this is not done in normal college type of trainings and that is the reason why we have so many people take our trainings. The basics that your complaining about is a part of this program. In that our members are given 3 months to learn the extreme basics. Facts: Everyone who have completed this trianing is now at high level IT jobs. So I think they are flying pretty well ;)
