As a Systems Administrator I encourage a lot of you to pay close attention to what he is saying and doing, this was an excellent breakdown of how to setup a DC and and use Active Directory, the RSAT was also very important to know unless you want to be logging into the server directly which is not necessary and most companies wont allow you to do so anyway, they will likely require you use RSAT. I'll admit i was a little irritated that she put the IP in the static line but things happen, making a mistake like that in the job field however will not be looked at without a frown and it also showed she was not paying close attention, also problematic. That is basic DC knowledge and it is key when being interviewed. With all of that being said this video is great, ill be passing this down to new learners. It will save me hours of demonstrating.

your statement comes across as a bit of a jerk. you was irritated by a noob on day 1 of learning a new skill set ? As a " Systems Administrator " your skill set and salary is far to low down the totem pole to act like such a helmet.

well said (intro) about learning and gettting qualifications and doing study etc and then going to do it and its changed or updated and things have moved around and you struggle thats why i believe in experience over qualifications and certifications because i have worked in the IT industry for 20 years from field to project to helpdesk to level 2 and level 3 engineering and seen people come and go like crazy because of struggling to keep up with change and people get in there comfort zone and in the industry i work in now they dont want to move up levels they want to stay where they are they are comfortable and dont want to learn or do study because when they leave the office they want to spend time with there little ones or families and have there own out side or out of office life and the expectations of IT sometimes is just too much and we need to get off the screens sometimes. i respect your channel mate and i think your doing a great job so keep up the good work and well done for helping educate people who struggle and i have started watching you hot seats too and i like the collabs on zoom with people learning and getting help and support from others who have done things before that others may not have because we all have strenghts and weaknesses and some can do things others can not and vice versa so yeah good stuff mate (Y) well done

🏆🏆🏆🥇🥇🥇much respect to you after watching this video.. You are such a great role model everyone should be aspiring to. I can relate to much of what you said in the beginning.. I basically came to NYC back in 1994 with no money lots of naive dreams, my first job was basically a paper boy on a bike , then started as a prep cook at a restaurant and then Just like you said I knew I could do something better with my life ... And now I have my own place here in PA and I work on Fire and access control systems but I wanna focused more on Networking and cloud technologies.. To those US citizens out there that wanna complain and brag about your entitlement. Let me just say that 85% percent of the immigrants that come to this country better themselves within a 11years span period. And at least half of this percentage end up living better and more productive lives than those that where born here originally. How is that possible you May ask? Well for starters we are not wasting time watching sitcoms overdosing or betting on sports maniac madness. We are focused and disciplined man... Anyways Congrats on your channel..

Hi, Danish. I have questions about containers vs ou's .What is the advantages of containers over organizational units? When would you use containers instead of ou's? Like, what scenario would you not want to be able to apply gpo's (maybe less overhead?)or in what scenario would the advantages of containers be more advantageous over being able to apply gpo's in an ou ? Sorry, if this was mentioned in the video. I did not catch it.

You need to disable first sign-in animation in your group policy settings, this helps users profile load fast. Overall great video though, keep up the good work.

im a entry level and yes i do have 4 certificates but no training and i receive a job as a 2nd tier helpdesk and its very frustrating because sometimes i am just a courier if someone needs a monitor they will send me i am still not even expert in a ticket. It's not like i don't know how to solve it but it's a bit of how the company works. NO instructions at all and i have to really keep on asking how to do this and that. Sometimes also the ticket i receive is so easy to solve but the helpdesk 1st tier doesn't do their job well They only do the ping. GPO policy force etc etc. while the problem is just pressing the Display.
