Even better, he's actually ahead by a couple of weeks. The first one was around Christmas Eve last year.

One of the coolest things about Jocko is that he never trashes on other military branches, unlike so many other known veterans...
@therock8097 жыл бұрын
Dane Rusticus he probably does just like any other veteran does playing around of course cause every Airmen and Soldier and Sailor and Marine makes fun of each other.

Spartan 04 -- Oh yeah, I'm sure he does it jokingly, but he doesn't push that humor out into his greater audience. I know some civilians and some lower level enlisted guys that take the competitions way, way too seriously. I just hate hearing any uniformed person seriously castigate other branches of the military. It gets really annoying, and it doesn't seem very healthy. They're all on the same team, defending the same country, serving the same people.

They answered my question! Thank you, Jocko and Echo. You guys are AWESOME. EDIT: The question was: "Recommendations for careers in Leadership". Nothing is impossible, friends. I have been a Combat Engineer Officer for the past two years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Persistence conquers all!

Real successful people have the trait of “if someone jabs at me” instead of putting my energy into retaliating they rather better the situation and make a positive relationship at every chance they can with that person. The opposite is done with unsuccessful people, they dwell on petty things that result into little to no value. That is what i hear jocko preach all the time as well which i think is a very crucial element to his success.

What a great and extremely valuable resource. There's hope for America as long great conversations like this are made public and supported in the Marketplace. I shop Amazon multiple times a week; from now on,... via the Jocko Podcast link. Thanks guys keep up the great work.

As Jocko says, everything has to be balanced. I'm a gamer myself, and I love my screen time. I also love making money through honest work and paying my bills and going on vacation and seeing the beautiful world. Balance. Lol

Hey Jocko, I agree with being efficient, but the time that you get from having lunch allows you to rest and to recharge, in my humble opinion. Albeit I don't agree to 1 hour lunch, more like 30-45 min. I do however see and understand your perspective.

I’m behind on the episodes and I’m catching up. At the end of this one EC explains the “why” for krill oil. He’s utilizing the leadership qualities that you teach Jocko. Rather than just saying “go do this,” he’s saying “we need to do this because....” just like why you’d carry out a mission. Thanks. Get after it.

Good evening Echo, This is that phone call. Week in and week out Jocko will jokingly mention your lack of videos that could have been made and insight that COULD have aided myself and the fellow troopers. One year has gone by, one year that you've pissed away. Jocko has been too lax with his criticism. It's time to reach your potential, your capacity. One year has been pissed away, let's not make it two. You need to, right now, grab a pen and pad, and write down all the things you want to go into during the podcast that jocko decides not to go down. You need to note the rabbit holes that Jocko decides not to pursue. Your ideas are real, and entertaining, and could be of great value, could be expanded to make something happen and get something of substance, but as Jocko mentioned in this podcast: "your idea is totally worthless if you don't execute on it." Make a decision; one video every other week, maybe less. Pick a number, make a timeline, stick to it. Don't get discouraged, you could be farther along by now but I haven't seen that kind of discipline from you yet. Life is too short to live on your ass, Echo. With love, GET AFTER IT!

tyler cross Agreed lol. Everything Jocko says is gold and I don't mean any disrespect but why have Echo on if he's not allowed to talk. Example; Jocko retells the story about Ballistic speaking (yelling all the time as seal training) which he told in a previous podcast. He would have ripped Echo apart hahaha

I'd appreciate if Echo finally cut his finger nails. Echo's a good looking guy so it'd be a pitty if his good looks were overshadowed by those gross long finger nails. Apart from that another brilliant podcast. Clearly earned the title best podcast 2016! Jocko is one good man. Thank you for the podcast, guys!
