it is amazing how the new pieces can be so far off from the original bends but as you mention they are easily manipulated by hand. Looks great

When I redone my 68 mustang, the grey trim pieces in the grille were chrome under the grey ! Hell I left it chrome, looks GREAT to me ! That's my favorite color ! 😂

I understand why some things are a little off when looking at my Mustang and others. Some stuff just doesn’t fit right. Always learning something from you

Thanks for these videos...I am restoring a 1968 California Special and these little knowledge shares have helped ...OBTW...OEM parts are always best...but are impossible to find..try finding an OEM side scoop for a CS....Repops everywhere...no OEM and when and if you find one...5 to 6oo bucks per side

nice Video , thanks for going over the Good vs Better version . I ran into the same situation where NPD only had one side of the better , so I ended up getting both sides of the good. wondered what the difference was. need to put them on yet , so this video we help. I need to take the old ones off first . looks like I will need to take my grille out too.

Hey Berry, I just want to say thank you for all your vids, I recently got a 67 A code mustang coupe. every time I get ready to do something on it I look to see if you have a video. By the way, I’m watching the 6-6-22 Monday livestream right now, just don’t know how to chim in… By the way, my new dash cluster from CJ was just delivered. Keep up the good work

One lesson I'm drawing from these recent clips...spend the extra money and buy OEM parts

It doesn’t matter what make of vehicle one is restoring, absolutely non of these aftermarket parts are simply bolt on, weld on, whatever, they all have to be adjusted and massaged into place. I was building a 55 task force Apache and bought the DynaCorn junk doors. The skins fit the body pretty good but they came welded and assembled as a door assembly should abs the hinge pockets were spot welded in such a mess that you literally place all of your fingers between the the inner door frame and the cab when the body lines of the door were aligned. I ended up removing the skins and cutting up the inner frame for patch panels on my original door and then skinned the inner frame with the outer skin. On my 71 CST chevy, bought a new grill shell and light bezels, supposed to be NOS GM licensed but sent them back because they were nothing like the OEM parts. Very frustrating

Did you mock the car up when it was in bare metal or after it was primed?

Bedankt. Ik wil deze auto een beetje unieker maken. De grille wordt zwart gelakt.
