I had a chance to visit a man that has 3 of the cars from the Wick movies. The Chevelle, and 2 of the Mustangs. One was a camera car, and the other was the crash car. Pretty interesting if you ask me. Have a look. He has a facebook page for the cars. groups/37042...

351 M codes are still very easy to find. That plus being automatic cars makes them 40-60K cars max. Now a 4 speed R car or a Boss9 is a different story completely.

All of the extra tube bracing looked interesting, when I bought my basket case 1973 Mach 1, the previous owner had started/attempted to add the same type of tubing in the engine bay from both shock towers to the front frame rails. Of course, I had to cut them out because they completely blocked the stock location of the coolant overflow tank and the battery tray. I may look into adding a monti carlo bar from side to side when she gets on the road next year but still thinking on that one. Thanks for the video and will be watching for more.

Hi Barry, I have been a subscriber for quite a while, love the way you body work panels, when you were doing the 55 truck I can't find anything on the lower hinge pocket and bracket, I just bought a 55 big window, and I knew going in that I had a few areas that were going to have to be addressed, a front fender (rear bottom patch panel), one cab corner, and my toughest challenge the lower hinge area of the door, the hinge pocket and bracket, the door skin is so so, I thought I should probably replace the skin up far enough so I can put the inner panel in and have skin to be able to bend the ends and bottom around the inner panel, but the placement of the bracket is my biggest concern because of the hinge lining up so the door fits correctly, am I making this to hard on myself, or do you have advice on the hinge alignment Thanks Mike

I wish you has gone a little more in depth about the donor cars. Were they bondo buckets at the start? It looks like the frames were pretty rust free. What kind of mileage did they have? I am surprised that the crash car wasn't more of a parts car to wit: buying a brand new chassis with modern high strength steel and build it up from there with modern engineering. I guess getting hit in a 40 year old vehicle is why they pay the stunt guys!

Bullitt was basically a new car and not totaled in the movie. It was also a real S code car. These cars were POS when they went to the body shop in NJ. My man , take some very good advice and lose these cars . Spend the next 30 years denying that you have them . Put them away and let the world wonder where they went to. Out of sight , but not out of mind. Say you sold them , burned them scraped them , whatever. Just so the world believes they are lost. I understand that you may want to gain some revenue from them right now but believe me. The mystique behind lost movie cars is what drives the price. The bullit car is only what it is because it was hidden away for so many years. Lose them and then cash in down the road... Cash in big.

These are most likely all 6 cyl cars and not the real hi-po cars. You'd have to be a real stupid moron to use a real Mach 1. I think that's a BS story. Decode that VIN. That Stang is a rust bucket anyways with a paint job. Look at that L rear qtr that was hit. Leave the wreck as the wreck.

They are real Mach 1's. Vin has been checked. Hard to say what shape they were in from the start.

They are real M code 351 mach1 mustangs that are both numbers matching cars. I have had both of the cars on lifts and there is little to no rust on either of them other than superficial rust from poor storage for the last few years.
