I was working down in Mexico back about 8 years ago, I was working at a refinery down there, I was working for Siemens at the time, I had been down there for 9 weeks, and well I got the next day and they called and said that my Dad had died, I remember driving to the airport that day to come home. The road that he is driving reminds me of that drive, and then the song just beats me down. I really miss my Dad, he was my anchor here in this life, and when he left me, I have never been able to get back on track, lost everything to be quite honest, I think now maybe even my mind. But thanks Joe, the song does touch me deeply my friend.

This is a grab you by the Soul song. Joe's vocals and the musicians backing him up are a winning combination. Has anyone else noticed Joe's fingers on the frets of the guitar as he chords it? His touch seems light and loving as he coaxed each note from it. A lot of guitarists seem like they are trying to pinch the guitar neck in half as they play. Much credit to Joe and the band.
