I was working down in Mexico back about 8 years ago, I was working at a refinery down there, I was working for Siemens at the time, I had been down there for 9 weeks, and well I got the next day and they called and said that my Dad had died, I remember driving to the airport that day to come home. The road that he is driving reminds me of that drive, and then the song just beats me down. I really miss my Dad, he was my anchor here in this life, and when he left me, I have never been able to get back on track, lost everything to be quite honest, I think now maybe even my mind. But thanks Joe, the song does touch me deeply my friend.

This is so sad. I just learned that you played this song as you committed suicide 2 days ago. I had never heard it before until last night after hearing about when you listened to it. I think it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Feeling such heartache. I Love you forever. Your sister, Sharon

Because the sad truth is that most people don't want to hear acutally amazing music. They rather listen to "catchy" pop songs that were written to be as commercial as possible and are devoid of pretty much any soul and depth.

The answer is simple - only people with a proper, kind and loving heart beating in their chest and a clear understanding about what truly is important in this life will listen to this kind of music, and we are - unfortunately - not the majority of “people”….

This is a grab you by the Soul song. Joe's vocals and the musicians backing him up are a winning combination. Has anyone else noticed Joe's fingers on the frets of the guitar as he chords it? His touch seems light and loving as he coaxed each note from it. A lot of guitarists seem like they are trying to pinch the guitar neck in half as they play. Much credit to Joe and the band. Keep the music coming Joe, we love it!

Driving towards the daylight Look upon a mountain, waitin' on a train. Baby I know what's wrong, and it's still happening. Waiting on my destiny, learning from my abilities. Who was wrong and who was right? Do we even know why we are fighting? So take your eyes off of me and look upon the churning sea. Driving towards the daylight, running from the midnight, trying to get my way home. Running from the spotlight, trying to find the daylight, trying to get back home. Running from the spotlight, trying to find the daylight, trying to get my way home.

This songs takes me back to my first love. I screwed up and lost her. Even all these years later I still miss her. We ended up a different universities, I should have tried harder to make a long distance relationship work. Been married for a long time to another. Joe’s song bring memories flooding back. Saw him in concert 2 months ago. He is so so good. The musicians with him just make the concert

Look upon a mountain Waitin' on a train Baby I know what's wrong And it's still happening again Waiting on my destiny Learning from my abilities Who was wrong and Who was right and Do we even know why we are fighting? So take your eyes off of me And look upon the churning sea Driving towards the daylight Running from the midnight Trying to get my way home Running from the spotlight Trying to find the daylight Trying to get back home Rusty strings on my old guitar Speaks volumes of who you are So never did I think it was you It was me, one of the chosen few Who will it be, oh the next time? Hopefully one with more sense of mind So where did you go? Always will see It's a story of you and me Driving towards the daylight Running from the midnight Trying to get my way home Running from the spotlight Trying to find the daylight Trying to get back home Driving towards the daylight Running from the midnight Trying to get my way home Running from the spotlight Trying to find the daylight Trying to get my way home Driving towards the daylight Running from that midnight Trying to get my way home Running from the spotlight Trying to find the daylight Trying to get my way home ❤❤❤ I love you all If you found this lyrics helpful in 2022 Please show some love ❤️ 👈👈 On my channel

I would be so happy if you would play this song at the concert on 06.05.23 in Baden Baden. It was the first song I heard from you 10 years ago. Since then I love your music. 👍😎
