@@derekkess4103 IMHO... much, if not MOST of what passes & is sold as "Music" today isn't even music when compared to what the TRULY GREAT Artists/Bands of the 60s/70s/80s produced. Frankly (with VERY FEW exceptions), I think many of the Superstar "singers" today can barely sing a note IN-KEY, if at all, without being electronically "Auto-tuned." (I could name them, but will be polite.) And its entirely possible I've blocked them out, but I also can't think of any successful "Bands" out there today that were formed after 1990. They may exist, but I don't recall even one. Only solo artists. Altho now that I think of it... IF they DO exist... I'm quite sure I don't want to know.🙏♥️🇺🇲✌

He definitely blows Ringos socks off on With a Little Help, and his take on The Letter is much more robust than the original ( by the Box Tops I believe). He does this great, but I like The Beatles equally. Same for Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (by The Animals originally).

He wasn't humble when he was into the drugs and whisky he treated those that cared about him like dirt. Even Leon Russell who put the mad dogs and englishman band together to help Joe to pay his debts. In the last 10 to 15 years of his life he turned it around with the help of his wife. Even so he was a legend in his own life time his music will be around foe many decades to come.

It is upsetting - to have grown up in this recent generation.. Too many of my fellow peers have no idea of what REAL music is. My father has shown me what real talent looks like. I'm sorry to admit that Joe was not one of the artists- but - Joe has become my all time favorite. Funny enough - "you are so beautiful" was my grandfathers song to my grandmother (on my moms side.) He died young. When my grandmother was failing, I dedicated that song to her, unbeknownst to me that he had attributed that song to her. Rest in Peace Joe. Thank you for your vigor.

I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?
