I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?
@Mama-Ames
@Mama-Ames 2 жыл бұрын
@@derekkess4103 IMHO... much, if not MOST of what passes & is sold as "Music" today isn't even music when compared to what the TRULY GREAT Artists/Bands of the 60s/70s/80s produced. Frankly (with VERY FEW exceptions), I think many of the Superstar "singers" today can barely sing a note IN-KEY, if at all, without being electronically "Auto-tuned." (I could name them, but will be polite.) And its entirely possible I've blocked them out, but I also can't think of any successful "Bands" out there today that were formed after 1990. They may exist, but I don't recall even one. Only solo artists. Altho now that I think of it... IF they DO exist... I'm quite sure I don't want to know.🙏♥️🇺🇲✌

LYRICS/TESTO: She came in through the bathroom window Protected by a silver spoon But now she sucks her thumb and wanders By the banks of her own lagoon Didn't anybody tell her? Didn't anybody see? Sunday's on the phone to Monday Tuesday's on the phone to me She said she'd always been a dancer She worked at fifteen clubs a day And though she thought I knew the answer Well I knew what I could not say And so I quit the police department And got myself a steady job And though she tried her best to help me She could steal but she could not rob Didn't anybody tell her? Didn't anybody see? Sunday's on the phone to Monday Tuesday's on the phone to me Oh yeah...

It is upsetting - to have grown up in this recent generation.. Too many of my fellow peers have no idea of what REAL music is. My father has shown me what real talent looks like. I'm sorry to admit that Joe was not one of the artists- but - Joe has become my all time favorite. Funny enough - "you are so beautiful" was my grandfathers song to my grandmother (on my moms side.) He died young. When my grandmother was failing, I dedicated that song to her, unbeknownst to me that he had attributed that song to her. Rest in Peace Joe. Thank you for your vigor.

The bass player is trolling. Probably didn't like the idea of pretending to play. Sort of a way to show the producers he wasn't feeling it.

As a musician I understand it but god forbid a television producer want the audience to hear a good version of the song. Live sound was and still is awful for the most part.

LYRICS She came in through the bathroom window Protected by a silver spoon But now she sucks her thumb and wonders By the banks of her own lagoon She said she's always been a dancer She worked at fifteen clubs a day And though I thought I knew the answer I just knew what I could not say Didn't anybody tell her? Didn't anybody see? Sunday's on the phone to Monday (ooh) Tuesday's on the phone to me (ooh) And so I quit the police department To get myself a steady job And though she tried her best to help me She could steal, but she could not rob Didn't anybody tell her? Oh, didn't anybody see? Sunday's on the phone to Monday (ooh) Tuesday's on the phone to me (ooh) Didn't anybody tell her? Oh, didn't anybody see? Sunday's on the phone to Monday (ooh) Tuesday's on the phone to me (ooh) Songwriters: Paul Mccartney, Jo

This song will always be on my playlist. I sure do miss the 70's & 80's music, back when people had full bands, back up singers, horn section and sometimes full orchestra. They sounded just as good live as radio or album version. Those were the days of true musical talent. Is this your favorite song?

I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?
