@@Oliver-q3x and Jermaine Defoe, Glen Johnson I think I might’ve even seen John Terry at some point but I can’t be sure. Plus you’d occasionally get some of the first team players coming back from injury like Wrighty, Razor, Moncur. The late great Les Sealey in goal. There’d be about a 1000 people in the crowd tops and we’d sing “Sealey, give us a wave” and of course cheer like mad when he obliged. That team both first team and reserves were unbelievable. I have not met Joe Cole, but for a few years I was lucky enough to be an amateur match photographer in USA with a press pass and I have a ton of photos of him playing for Tampa Bay Rowdies. Not as cool as photographing Raul but close enough lol. Hair = Albert Steptoe. Its so odd seeing a player in a t-shirt with no visible tattoos. I disagree with the point regarding types of players in Bullard/Cole generation compared to now. Technical maverick types used to see lots of success back in the day, today you have to be an athletic machine and 'press, press, press'. It is systems football. Cole was too unpredictable and too much of maverick to be a big player in a top team - ala Grealish.
