Ricardo Affonso Because that is what the scene represents in spirited away. The black figures you see are people crossing over in the afterlife. The train is ghibli’s own version of the boat you hear referenced in most eastern and old European tales of the dead, crossing a river to get to the afterlife.

The sixth stop is a song that makes me think of life, of what it means to reflect on one’s actions (including my own) and what it means to be alive and in the current reality I’m living. It’s personal, it’s soft, it’s melancholic, yet it’s brave and stoic too. Looking to the future while also reflecting on your past mistakes. It’s about having the courage to move forward with uncertainty despite obstacles. It’s love ❤

@GUYMFF2 жыл бұрын

@flymetothemoontaeil41299 жыл бұрын
Please don't think of me negatively, that is not what I meant when I wrote my comment. What I meant was that even though Joe knew his own song by heart, he still read the sheet music so that shows that he wants his performance to be as flawless as possible. It's admirable! I wouldn't say that everyone who could write music is amazing, though. That would defeat the purpose of the word.
