In March of 2022, Joe Lovano kicked off the JAMBAR Presents Series at the California Jazz Conservatory, a concert series sponsored by JAMBAR Organic Energy Bars. Joining Joe are CJC faculty member and Dean of Instruction, Jeff Denson and CJC Drum Department Chair, Gerald Cleaver.

Why is everybody so still in the audience? They're swingin hard. Lovano has this amazing swing feel. I love how he approaches rhythm, even his "sheets of sounds" are inside the beat and swinging hard. I can't listen to this music without shaking my head at least.
