For the kiss, it's whomever hits the boss the most... You also can jump higher if you hold up while pressing A. And keys to unlock gates are found in bonus stages, which you reach by breaking bright orange eggs when there are no enemies on the screen.

Well it is helpful in retrospect. Like if I didn't understand something in a game I was playing, I'd like the info on what I missed. But yeah, it is frustrating when they're not able to figure something out, especially when there's this huge line of Xs on the screen built up during the boss fight. For having played video games since the NES, they have a lot of trouble catching on to things.

Omega Rugal yeah, thats what I meant. Its literally 30seconds in the instruction manual, so a bit frustrating to see them play without knowledge like that. Its like playing SuperMario 64 without knowing about all the different jumps, like tripple jump, walljump, backflip, far jump. Kinda awkward.

I remember it too! Played it alot with my friend when I was a kid. Playing coop. Loved getting the weapons and the general artstyle and direction they took with it! The girl ending scene was always something you "fought" about getting with your friend. Loved this! :)

The double jump is basically mandatory for alot of the game. You can jump forward and then double jump on the spot. It is basically Ghouls n Ghosts.

The arcade game was pretty similar, it just never had the map screen. I used to play this with my mates, they had the arcade cabinet at the local swimming pool. When I heard it was on the SNES I just had to have it, and I wasn't disappointed!

There is avgn episode being made if i remember one recent video hinting about it correctly. Believe me, he is doing something (not something great and epic.. we won't see like another movie or extra long episode.. but we will get something eventually). The James&Mike Mondays take some time too you know. Not every game they play is entertaining enough to be published as a video. They don't have time for this every week so they pick day or two and play like 2 to 4 games in a row (play beforehand) so they can manage to do other stuff (like watching horrormovies for halloween special or finding material for christmas).

The SNES was famous for its "ball necks." The hardware mostly still limited developers to using sprites, which means fluid moving things like necks, tails, tentacles, etc would mean re-animating the entire sprite frame-by-frame for every possible different movement. It used far less memory to just make the moving part out of segments that moved freely on their own (usually balls). There's a lot of this in Link to the Past and Super Metroid, too.

Also about that boss, you guys wondered at one point if were getting hit by your own boomerangs. Well, the boss can eat projectiles and throw them back 3-in-a-row, and not just boomerangs, all projectiles work even fireballs (despite that being the boss's weakness)

Great co-op game, the wheels are the strongest weapon in the game and you can collect all the weapons and press select to go through them. Also you need to find keys to open those bonus stages on the map! Also, one of the hardest final bosses on Snes too

You can switch to any weapon you've found, so you can use what is best for a situation. Select, I think. Also, you can hold up while jumping to jump higher. There are many hidden bonus areas in levels. You have to ride on the pterodactyls to do it sometimes.
