I'm a huge Cubs fan but god Maddon does nothing but embarrass himself out there.

I believe it was the right call however, schwarber, I believe should be awarded 2nd base. I can't say whether or not that is correct by the letter of the law but the interference has nothing to do with him.

Absolutely the right call. Must run in the lane. Not hard to understand

This video is misnamed. It should read "Umpires make correct call and Maddon acts like an idiot".

Joe is always a whiny little baby about everything which in turn makes his team whiny babies too.

I don't really see a lot of whining from the team when they are in the wrong. Most of the players typically know the game. But I will agree even as a Cubs fan I can't stand Maddon.

If he was outside he would of been safe, wilson was close to obstruction as well being that far inside. At first I thought he was avoiding obstruction which is totally legal on a routine play.
@alanhess93066 жыл бұрын
Evan Anderson, Nonsense. The runner was out of the lane and interfered with the fielder taking the throw. Textbook RL interference. The umpires were correct, and you are wrong.
@evanandersen646 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree with the play because he was out of the base path and too far inside. But wilson was also close to obstruction being that far inside at first I thought the umpire was making that call. If Wilson had to avoid obstructing a play you are allowed to further outside the base path you see it all the time. I'm an umpire the base path rule is so black and white www.wusa.org/page/show/487116-what-is-the-rule-about-running-out-of-the-base-path-
