I`ve watched this 20 times or more. Still brilliant. Inspiring. Compared it to Luther`s original and it still stands up, no problem. As I recall there was a female X-factor singer who also did an excellent version....(was it Stacey?)...just going to check it out....brb, lol. ...Got it! It wasn`t a female singer, it was a bloke on Australia`s Got Talent named Leon Lee. Check it out, I guarantee you`ll be impressed and maybe even shed a tear. Leon`s voice is actually pretty close to the depth of Luther Vandross, as opposed to Joe`s own vocal style. Let me know what you think if you get round to it. :) :) By the way, Stacey did a great version of Wonderful world. Amazing in fact. Cheers people.

I was at the auditon, along with my friend, held at the G Mex in Manchester in the smaller theatre. A roasting hot day, Joe was even more handsome than on TV, enormous deep blue eyes, and the one that stood out among the rest.

People no one actually knew Joe was gay at this point. Joe didn't even know he was gay at this point. He had a girlfriend when he auditioned. He didn't realise he was gay until a year after x factor when someone hacked his twitter account and tweeted "I'm gay" n then he came to terms with his sexuality n announced he was gay so lay off the comments.

Joe was"ïntroduced" to me when Popstar to Operastar was aired in my country, Singapore, in the 1st quarter of this year. And I also learned that he was the winner of X-factor uk 2009. Based on his performances in the first week I knew he would win PTO because he was so good. So I went on to watching his X-factor performances on KZbin and I was wowed and floored. I am a huge fan of Joe now. He is so talented and such a beautiful humanbeing.

I remember when I was little maybe about 5 or 6 I remember waking up from being asleep and I heard this song playing and it was my dad dancing with my mom then 6 years later my father passed Away from a rare blood cancer and when he was sick my mom went to Boston cancer treatment every weekend and she would play this for him and he tried to fight on but his body was just to weak to keep going so he passed on. Remember at the funeral my mom played this song one last time so he could take it with him into heaven knowing that she wishes she could dance with my father again one last time. To everyone that has there father still please take time to appreciate it and take time to take in the lessons he teaches you because it's going to be so helpful in the later years of your life and won't have any regrets like I have had for many many years.

I'm from the U.S. and I fell in love with Joe after hearing his audition about a year ago, maybe longer. I can't believe that I'd never heard this song before this and it made me cry because I never had the chance to dance with my dad. I'm not a good dancer anyway but after hearing this song all the way through and crying every single time, it made me wish that I could have. I'm glad to see that Joe is enjoying success. I was able to order his CD's and really love them. Keep singing Joe!! :)

kungku rad Listen to the finale when he sang this. They obviously worked with him because the vibrato was much smoother at the end. Remember, he just got up to do Karaoke one night without any training that we know of and he could sing. I've never known how to get vibrato when I sang but I can't really sing. It's just that through the season he got better all the time.
