Pavelski has been a superstar for most of his career. He has made a handful of deep playoff runs with the Sharks and he’s doing it again currently with the Dallas Stars. He sits down with Elliotte Friedman and reflects on his career, past playoff disappointments and what it takes for the Stars to win the Stanley Cup. As a former Sharks STH I was upset to see him leave SJ, but am happy to see Pavs doing well with a contender - especially as the Sharks are wallowing through a rebuild... and IMHO doing a bad job of it.

No offense to him,but i hope he has another playoff disapointment. Dallas got so lucky on injuries this yr-actually til Pavelski got hurt. Especially compared to my Avs,& to a lesser degree-Minnesota. Stars had like 80 total lost man games ALL SEASON...Avs had like 500. We really had no business winning the division. But since Edmonton is the only fan base left in the west I can stand-God I hope they beat Vegas,then whoever wins Dallas-Seattle.

Staying healthy is apart of the game, while sometimes it is out of your control it doesn’t always have to be. That isn’t luck, it’s preparation and discipline. You want a team to lose in the playoffs because they don’t have enough hurt men? That’s twisted

Ovi for example. Staying mostly health his whole career isn’t an accident, it’s a tribute to his skill on and off the ice. Just because you don’t get hurt doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing

Yeah bc they’ve never had unlucky years w injuries, COVID, ice storms, ect. Seguin just came back from being out for almost 2 years. Why does it matter to you if y’all just won a cup?
