The thing about Tkachuk is that he is doing the little things no one else does to enable those big moments to happen. Like his dad Keith. He is a grinder. Not the fastest or strongest but he always in your face making your life a living hell.

Datsyuk had better hands, but it’s close. Also a better two way game, but once again, it’s close. Thing that Datsyuk has a huge lead on is his hockey IQ.

We were at the point where they would give away tickets in local magazines. This team has been threw the lowest of lows that I never thought we would come this close to another SCF appearance.

And now the Florida Panthers are one win away from their first SCF since 1996. But Carolina hasn't won an ECF game since, probably 2006? They need to focus on just winning one game if they want that streak to end. In the Quadruple OT, it looked like the clearing attempt hit the referee before Tkachuk picked it up and buried it for the winner. We talk about him and Bennett rubbing it in the faces of Flames fans, but Reinhart and Montour are doing the same to Sabres fans. Edit: Vegas is also one win away from a sweep. The Denver Nuggets sweep the LA Lakers in the NBA WCF, both NHL CFs look like sweeps, and despite losing Game 4 to the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat are still one win away from winning the NBA ECF.

I'm a long longtime bruins fan, when the Panthers came back to eliminate the B's I figured Panthers would have trouble, they're on an amazing run, and Bobrovsky's a stonewall, it really looks like destiny for the Panthers, their streak has become a psychological asset as well as great play, if they knock out canes whoever's next will have their hands full, I still like Vegas but Florida's making a believer out of me.

Howden clipped Oetter's skate on that Game 1 OT goal. I don't understand why it wasn't challenged, because that clearly caused Oetter to not be able to be in position resulting in the goal. Also, just put a picture of the Stars roster on the screen as a Dang-It this week. They have not played to their own level this series, and it's extremely disappointing. (Suter, Benn, Domi, etc., just the whole damn team)
