@WG-tt6hk4 жыл бұрын
@Carter Wop It is virtually impossible for Earth to be the only planet to have intelligent (which is debatable) life on it , considering the billions of planets in our own Milky Way galaxy. There are millions of galaxies in the "known" universe. The Drake equation addressed this most eloquently. The question is are "they" visiting us and why ? 1. This would mean our "big brained" physicists are not "all knowing" when it comes to FTL propulsion (if the "aliens" can do it , then it CAN be done.) 2. The galaxy is 15 billion yrs old. If there are other civilizations out there (and they have not destroyed themselves) , they might be millions of yrs older than us. If you showed modern technology to a proto-human of 1 million yrs ago, they would think you a god. If the human race can get beyond it's "cave man" stage (we are still in it) then the technology of 1 million yrs from now will look like magic to us. 3. I have yet to be convinced, but if "disclosure day" happens today, I will not be shocked. I reference my first comment.

@@jacobcastro1885 You subscribe to the first part "We are alone in the universe" (ie: The Earth is unique because God selected it to be home to man). The "Earth Centric" view is as valid as a multi universe view. (for now). But in 2020 other planetary systems are being found. That is the first step in finding a planet with some form of life on it. Just because God put life as we know it on Earth does not mean it cannot put in another form on another planet. People put God in a frame so that they can define it. The universe is beyond human conceivement (we can formulate the idea but we can't fathom the size), so it is reasonable to assume that whatever created the universe is greater than it's creation. Therefore , God is beyond our ability to comprehend and is not limited by our thinking. As far as as how it is done, stay tuned that is being actively investigated.
@jacobcastro18854 жыл бұрын
@@WG-tt6hk I didn't say I don't believe there is other life (you are putting words in my mouth, which is rude). I simply said that the size of the universe alone is not evidence for it (at this time, with what we know). My pet peeve is the misuse of statistics, not understanding the difference between correlation and causation, and deriving false conclusions based on false inferences.

In 1952 my family was moving to California from Colorado. I had been raised in Indiana and never heard of a UFO, I was 15 at he time. We were on the highway but my Aunt and I needed to go the bathroom, in the middle of nowhere, so my Aunt pulled over and said let’s go here and pulled over. We ran up the side of a berm. When we got to the top, I looked down and there was a large craft lying on the ground. It was huge, I wasn’t scared at all but just stood there, it was so big all I could think the material was not like a metal and a grayish color but I remember thinking there was no way we could cover this craft because it had no seams. It was round with no windows and flat on the ground. Nothing disturbed around no feet prints, nothing had disturbed the ground around it. I was just amazed and didn’t want to move but my Aunt who had worked at Lockheed grabbed my hand and pulled me as fast as she could back to the car. We sped off so fast but she put on the radio and they just announced that a ufo had sighted in the area. It’s something I’ve not told to anyone except my husband and children. It will never leave me.I’ll never forget it. I’m 87 now and it still the most awesome sight in this world.

Change the title from "go deep," to "barely skim the surface." Edit - Didn't expect so many likes, thanks, and in my humble perspective, there's a lot of evidence to suggest not only that we are not alone in the Universe, but that beings seen, and unseen by the human eye exist throughout the Earth, and the cosmos. Personally, the spiritual aspect of life, the belief in a Creator that is beyond time & space, and the worship of said Creator through good deeds, patience, and prayer, are some of the most important existential realities every human will encounter in their lifetime. If you're interested in theological discussions, I suggest the channel EFDawah for comparative religious discourse. Experimental jetpacks are nothing new. A gallon of gasoline contains 133 megajoules of energy, which is enough power to suspend a 100kg person and jetpack above ground for 37 HOURS; so 30 minutes is less than 2% efficency. And that's with just a GALLON of ordinary gasoline, when it could easily carry more. However there's just not real much practical use for a jetpack, since they'd be too unsafe for actual use. Even when designing a flying car, I had to make the SEAT out of an inflated recliner in case it crashed. A jetpack would be worse than an aerial motorcycle. They just look neat in fiction, where there are no accidents.

If you notice, even in the old paintings these saucers have that off kilter slant to one side when moving through the air like the Nimitz sightings.

snapcrack55 Are you a new Rogan listener? Dude knows hunting. Do you think he just goes to the range? I’ve heard him give DETAILED descriptions of dropping game with a properly targeted arrow after hiking into remote mountain and forest terrain. Does it with a bow. I’d say he knows hunting.
@snapcrack554 жыл бұрын
@@seriousseriosity4055 I've listened to JRE since the first Meateater interview. I would definitely call Rogan a hunter, but the description he gave in this video was, well...silly at best. Thus my comment. Maybe he was purposely dumming it down for his guest. My favorite photo is of Joe & that moose quarter...
