Joe was really sensitive to her. I appreciate that. He stood his ground with her wild side and made his own points, but he didn't make her feel uncomfortable. This allowed her to be honest. This is why I love Joe.

Roseanne broke every boundary for women in comedy, more so than any other female comedian before her. She went from waitressing in Utah to producing and starring in one of the most successful sitcoms of the 80s. She was ballsy, funny, politically incorrect, broke rules and broke ground. Kathleen Haidl I’m actually really impressed by joe, when she goes off on super crazy he calmly asks a few simple questions then laughs ALONG with her as she hits the peak and comes back from the ozone. I really appreciate seeing him treat her wilder tangents in such a way that isn’t just ‘calling it out’ and it isn’t quite letting it slide either, it’s kind and accepting and absolutely calms that behavior down. She ain’t all there, but she aint all wrong either in her more rational moments. And dang Joe, showing me how a decent human acts.
