I sometimes travel long haul flights Europe-Japan for work. I am a scientist working in the field of x-rays, for this reason we're always required to carry a dosimeter while doing experiments. A dosimeter measures the amount of radiation you get in contact with. One time it happened that my total exposure during the experiment was 0.1 mSv (milli Sievert), but during the flight it was 0.9 mSv. For reference a member of the public is safe with 1 mSv/year, a radiation worker can go up to 20. Meaning that once you get to about 10 intercontinental flights a year you might as well get yearly checked.

When evil shows up, it doesn't announce itself and say, "I'm evil, it's time for evil!" Instead, evil says, "I am good, and I am here to do good." "Won't someone think of the children? It's just a minor encroachment on personal liberty."

At 53, Years of playing sports, working in many of the different trades, relationships, firefighting, etc. it's pretty crazy to witness since the internet became such a part of society, How many people will accept and believe what they're told over what their senses and actual experience tells them. Anyone that actually believes that there is no difference between men and women especially when it comes to performance sports is either willingly lying or an utter idiot. It's actually shocking how many today outwardly go along with all that the ruling class is trying to manipulate the people to accept as real.

1:21:00 I definitely can relate to being an overachiever that always tried to please people and win the love, attention, and affection of family members that ignored me. after achieving some things, i realized i'd never be happy trying to use someone else to feel whole about myself. i definitely had a chip on my shoulder... the classic "i'm gonna show them" attitude... it still sneaks up on me sometimes, but through a lot of therapy and healthy relationships I'm overcoming those damn demons :)

The richest in the world are not those that have the most. It is those who need the least to obtain true contentment. Happiness is not purchased or found, It is a choice. There is no higher purpose than service to others. You don't choose and life, You live one. The two most important days of ones life is the day you are born and the day you realize why.

It's the BS world we live in were we live for work rather than it being how it should be. I'm curious if there has ever been an experiment done where someone who provides a service, Instead of charging a particular rate, Instead told the customer that after the service is complete, They pay what they feel the value of the service is. At the end of say 6 months. Would you end up with more or less than you would charging traditionally?

I genuinely feel that drinking and then driving is actually quite a bit worse than having a drink or two while you are driving. Drinking and then driving definitely leads to more DRUNK people on the road vs. drinking while driving more than likely you aren't drunk. Ie. leaving a bar and driving home vs. getting off work and drinking a beer on your way home. I've really never understood the open container laws, if we are going to set limits on your blood alcohol level and say "this is how much alcohol you can have in your system and still drive" then why does it matter if you drink before you drive or during your drive, you're still either over the limit or not over the limit. We could totally get rid of open container laws and keep DUI laws and I don't think there would be even the slightest difference in drunk driving accidents.

I think drink driving is not so much telling you what you can and cannot do, but protecting innocent road users from your insanity. I get why some might think it is communist, but I think if you went full direct democracy on that, I think you would find landslide majority in favour of drink driving being illegal.

I got my drivers license in Canada in 1993. I learned on my father‘s manual transmission car. When I went to take my test, they would not let me use my dad‘s car because I had to use an automatic for the test, so I had to borrow my grandparents automatic car for the test. However, I am happy to have both skills. These days, I call manual transmissions “millennial antitheft devices.” lol

There were a few films with Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy that displayed blatant domestic violence and physical male dominance over a woman. One was "Woman of the Year" (1943 or 1944) where he slaps her and pushes a woman who is an established famous journalist/writer or career woman and tries to change her via machismo bullying and put downs...after knowing full well who she is and what she does and still married her...in to a submissive traditional housewife; and there's nothing wrong with masculine and feminine traditional roles that can overlap--that's how generations of both sides of my family were raised and I saw a fantastic example set by my parents who have been married 43 years and counting (and dated and were engaged for a total of 7 years in addition to marriage); however it is shown in a way that completely puts her down, expects her to cater to his every whim, give up her high profile job where she makes more and is more successful than him, and even lays his hands on her. Then in Adam's Rib (1951 or 1953) husband and wife were taking turns giving each other a massage after a stressful day as both are lawyers and have related competing cases, there was definite, repeated physical and domestic violence where he spanks her and hits her and makes her cry, and when she retaliated by kicking him in the shin, he acts like she took a baseball bat to his leg. Sidenote: In real life, Tracy was an alcoholic and had an infamous affair/relationship with Hepburn since his Catholic guilt and guilt over his only son being born deaf so he never divorced his wife and mother of his child yet in some twisted way in his mind, blatantly cheating on your wife and living with another woman for 30+ years somewhat absolved him of his adultery; and somehow uber liberal feminist Hepburn tòok the disrespect of being the other woman as well as emotional and mental and likely physical abuse.
