oddly enough, comedians have been like arbiters of truth for a while, like that comedian who exposed the zapruder film to the world for the first time in the 70s. comedians are a 100x more reliable than politicians and they're supposed to be clowns/jesters yet its the other way around.

@@robertburnett6348 Yes because it's an entertainment segment. It's not about the 'news' it's about giving the news in an entertaining way so it's actually accessible to more people than otherwise. Yeah Kurt is real, and really funny. He's one if the few people in the public eye who actually sees how it works and feels compelled to talk about it which means he gives a shit. @user-hl7ji4bv4q10000% correct. I think even Jimmy struggles to follow him sometimes. Says Kurt’s going off topic when he’s providing another example of the same corruption or explaining another reason why something is deeply immoral. I’ve learned so much from Kurt. He sees things as they are and doesn’t virtue signal ever. A blessing to our society. More people need to listen to Kurt. REALLY listen. I hope his podcast comes back.

Kurt Vonnegut also said, about the Dresden bombing, later in his life he ending up meeting/speaking with some of the people involved in the decision making that led up to the bombing, and the answer that he got was that Dresden was bombed due to "bureaucratic inertia" which is to say, the people bombing had a lot of bombs to drop, and they were going to drop them somewhere so it ended up being Dresden, even though there was no practical military justification or reason for setting it and its inhabitants on fire...
