If evil exists then a spiritual realm exists. Something to think about. If you don’t have a spiritual life you are really missing the best part. Jesus is the truth the good life
@EatEatEatRepeat2 күн бұрын
christian perspective of evil is interesting, because god made man, so why give them evil ingredients. "because god gave humans free will"-but some people are born psychopaths, and even if you aren't a psychopath, we are all born with a particular brain chemistry. many people can't even get themselves to do mundane things, like stop eating unhealthy, and/or start exercising-things that they want, but for some bizarre reason can't get themselves to accomplish. and it's particularly important to mention homosexuality etc, which is imposed by creation and not self-inflicted by individuals, hence a lack of free will-yet condemned by both testaments in the bible. and the devil doesn't have godlike powers to tinker with human brain chemistry nor inborn sexuality as far as i know, so let's not blame him. regardless, it's a manmade religion like any other. more than half of the world population claims to believe in abrahamic religions, and that got so much to say about our species. tut. i encourage cannibalism, alien invasion, ai takeover, and nuclear war-make haste, master putin, for gods sake.

That's why when people say they believe in god but don't believe in the devil I be like then explain the bible mentioning him then other wise believing in god and Jesus wouldn't make any sense as far as there mission to deliver you from evil

At age 12, I went on vacation with my parents and one of the stops was Gettysburg. I knew the Civil War was held there but not too much else. Standing there where most of the carnage occurred, I had the feeling of tremendous sadness and loss. Tough to put into words. Now at age 69 and after years of study, yes there is evil but there is love also. We are spiritual beings, and you always have the choice to shine your light.

Grew up in a house with some wild history. I don't really have a belief in ghosts ,but one of my brothers swears he had a supernatural experience. It was kinda an infamous case, of a Dr.Crippin from Michigan around turn of the 19th century. He had left America and went to England, but was convicted and hung to death for murdering his wife. I lived in his old home/office through the 1980s till around 96'. My dad was a sorta mischievous guy who like telling us horror stories so when he told us about our houses history,I actually didn't believe him. It wasn't until I was in my mid 30s I watched an episode of a show called infamous murders, and to my surprise they did a case study on Dr Crippin, showed a picture of my old house and everything. One twist though,he swears to his innocence till he died, even wrote a letter to his father an hour before his death telling him he was innocent and would see him in heaven. He was convicted because a body was found in the basement, with a hysterectomy scar. His wife had received a hysterectomy in those days that was enough he was convicted. The show I watched had actually obtained the original sample of the hysterectomy scar ,and did DNA test on it. The body was 100% determined NOT to have been his wife. So don't know if he really did it, but I'm calling drama queen on my brother for letting himself get scared of non-existent ghost.

Climbed the Chichén Itzá pyramid in the early 2000's, when I got to the top I felt a weird sensation I've never felt before or since in my life. I went from rolling sweat from climbing the steps on a hot day to bone dry in about 2 minutes after getting to the top and entering the top room. Went down into the chambers of the pyramid and immediately felt every hair on my body stand up. Not usually one to believe in such things but something is weird about that place. Could be giving off some sort of frequency that messes with humans. Kind of like old knob-and-tube wiring that is known to give off frequencies that can make people hallucinate making people believe that their old house is haunted.

I used to live in Gloucester UK near the house that the serial killer Fred West lived in (I worked with the victim who managed to escape them), they bulldozed his house and left it as a gap between buildings. He lived in Cromwell St and Wellington St runs parallel with it. We used to call it murder mile. The vibe the was different. A lot of addicts and dealers lived there. I lived there for three years and virtualy every murder you heard about was in those two streets. There are huge ghettos in Gloucester with more drugs and dealers there, but there was something about those two streets. I don't believe in an evil force but I believe that the things we do and feel linger and might even be able to influence others behaviour whilst there. I knew an alcoholic who lived there and her boyfriend chopped her into 70 odd bits with a machete (Britain is A LOT more dangerous than you'd think. I've had 3 friends murdered all separately, two of which where in Gloucester. It's a beautiful place though with lovely people, for the most part. I loved it there.

The feeling i got at the Vatican was the blatant nihilistic love of money. It is an ancient and cynical love of gold and jewels and hoarded wealth. It feels fake, like you're walking into a house masquerading as the house of God but you just feel an insidious, putrid sense of corruption pulling strings behind the scenes. I felt awe at the artwork and craftsmanship but I felt sick that so much wealth is hoarded when it could feed all the poor people in the world. It's a very strange place.

I no longer have that luxury, but I am still here. 😂 I would love to be able to make people really appreciate that the things valued in this world are nothing, and the only thing that matters is those who you love and how you treat each other. The unfortunate thing is I wouldn't have listened to that either, and it sounds like the pitch of a cult, although it's the truth. I just remind folks that tomorrow is not promised to anyone, and either way, our earthly deaths are certain, and all the world's riches can't change that.

A burst of 30mm and the truck stopped, instead of a fuel truck it was a water hauler and he had his kids in the truck with him. What his intentions were are unclear, but I presume he was trying to get asylum for his kids, but I'll never know.

I've experienced evil. Anytime had to work with a specific person, I would feel physically sick and it always started with a migraine. I don't work there anymore.

If you didn't know the place you were in had a history, you wouldn't be saying that. Knowing evil things happened somewhere, and feeling a certain way about it, is a far cry from feeling real, tangible 'evil'.

Some people are more sensitive to energies than others, so your statement is incorrect. Many can feel it and know something happened in a place without knowing what that event was that transpired. Highly sensitive people feel things differently than others....

“Evil” may be real, but it often gets confused with mental illness and misunderstanding, because people are lazy and it’s easier to just say something or someone is evil.

I was in a large WWII museum last year. There was this big basement with hundreds of weapons that were used on the Eastern front during WWII. All of those weapons were actually used and held by soldiers killing others. I stayed in that room for maybe 2 minutes, could hardly bear it any longer. The rest of the museum was pretty chill, still some heavy stuff but not nearly as eery feeling as that weapon loaded basement

Places do have memory - oir and rats nerve cells, are the same by clocking each cell a different quordinate of a given location, so that if you return to it, your brain maps each square foot, and you get a quicker more accurate recognition of your surroundings. Cheers all

Been to Gettysburg too. I believe that traumatic events do leave residual imprints. Not necessarily evil. Spirits give off electromagnetic energy too. That could make you feel nauseous.

I would agree that Gettysburg has a sadness to it that can’t be described. But the most evil place I have ever been in was the foundation of Prinz Albrecht Strasse number 8, and it had been turned into a a museum kind of four remembering the building that had been there before it was bombed out as the Gestapo prison and headquarters in Berlin Germany. Now you could actually go from the place that had been raised for the museum down into the basement where the jail cells were. Jail cells held political prisoners like Dietrich Bonhoeffer after the July 20, 1944 plot that failed to kill Hitler. He was part of it. It was massively horrifying. The air was cold. It felt heavy. It was just really disturbing. That was I think the most evil place I’ve ever been in.

Dachu. Never will forget how that felt. Germany is beautiful and it was a beautiful day. Once inside that place...no birds..not a sound. Somber doesn't get it. Very Very grim. Like Stephen King said in Salem's Lot about the Marsten House. A dry cell for evil and it stores it and keeps it.

Energy sticks, especially when dramatic and evil things have taken place. You have to clear and cleanse the energy field. Same with antiques. Old attachments need to be cleansed and then blessed before you bring it into your space. Evil uses the lei lines on the planet for maximum effect.

!00% true, my son and I went to a house on the beach to do some electrical installations. As I walked into the house to look at the electrical panel like I've been doing my entire career, I felt it, and it got worse with each step. I had to get out. I did the outside work while my son did the inside. I never wanted to finish a job and get tf out of there that much in my life. I've got some kind of weird mental thing that I've dealt with all of my life. I don't see things, I somehow just know things.
