Agreed. He got the Lilith story all wrong. As I've come to learn it from different sources, including Kabalah, Lilith was created the same way as Adam and therefore his equal. Lilith refused to be "the bottom" literally and figuratively to Adam. She was a "woman on top" kinda gal. She also dabbled in things she she shouldn't have. God heard Adam and kicked her out. Time passes and she meets up with Caine. Together they wind up creating all the evil creatures of mythology. In some wiccan circles, Lilith is revered as the both the first witch, and a nad ass boss bitch feminist. But the bible is rampant with misogyny and the Lilith story is another aspersion against strong women.

I thought Lilith was Adam's first wife. She was created the same as Adam was, and as such, she refused to be subject to him, and so she left him for an angel, probably Samael AKA Satan. Then Eve (Hava) was created using one of Adam's ribs, and so she was subject to him. Meanwhile, Lilith went off and spawned another lineage of people and/or demons. This is why Lilith is kind of the goddess of the feminists. I could be wrong, been awhile since I heard of this story.

@02:55 According to this midrash, Lilith was Adam's first wife, created from the same earth as him, making them equals. However, Lilith refused to be subservient to Adam, leading to conflict. She uttered the divine name of God, fled the Garden of Eden, and became associated with demonic activity. God then created Eve from Adam's rib as a more compliant partner.

Adam was charged to "guard" the garden. From what? From whom? The word "guard" is a strong, clear command in the original Hebrew. He was warned, was with Eve and did not speak up. But it is rather moot since we have carried on since then and are personally responsible for doing much the same ever since.

Gods not real dude and Joe like the vast majority of people don’t believe because it’s just a bunch of bullshit the Bible isn’t gods word it’s man’s word and the Bible is just story’s and myths nothing factual. Like Moses and the Jews that didn’t happen there would have been around 2.2 million Jews wondering the desert with almost no water or wildlife there’s no proof at all till this day that the Jews were wandering the desert looking for Israel nothing at all can prove it happened no artifacts or signs of life have been found from them. Another one is the flood that supposedly killed everyone but the people and animals on the ark we have ancient Chinese writings from the supposed time of the flood and not one thing ever mentions the world flooding and you really belive every apex animal was on the ark peacefully 😂. Adam and Eve is another one it would be impossible for them to populate the world everyone would have been incest then and you think a talking snake made her eat some forbidden fruit 😂 the Bible is just a book made by man to make people conform and we have physical proof of historical figures from that time but not one thing that can prove Jesus was real

I had an insane 25C psychedelic experience where I left my body and some type of “entities” borough me to outer space to a golden city and told me that is where I was going to go when I die. There were massive cat statues made out of gold as well. I also had a near death experience while surfing the day before a hurricane hit here in FL, and although I didn’t have any visions, I felt the same exact peace and calm that I did on my trip. I almost drowned and was completely ready to die. A voice in my head that I heard loud and clear told me it wasn’t my time yet and I somehow survived. More of like a soft and gentle voice. My voice is chill but pretty deep. I can see it being my voice at first now that I’m really thinking about it. I was just waiting to die and in my head, I said “wait what?” And the voice repeated word for word a 2nd time and that’s what I remember most.

It’s like a dream, in the moment it seams to be real, and you act as if it were real, but then you wake up and you realize it wasn’t, but it still feels real. Well, but the bible is actually a collection of books. And many books have accounts that are historically accurate. So even if you don't believe in God and the supernatural stuff that happens in the bible, you can't equate it to Lord of the Rings. Especially the New Testament, that is written as historical documents. What is said there has to be considered historical. Because most of human history is written by eyewitnesses, without any proof and we treat it as accurate. The New Testament is eyewitnesses accounts and letters exchanged in the first century.

Remember the snake was cursed by God to crawl the rest of its days. Who knows what form or how the snake looked in the beginning. Perhaps it was like the mythological dragons. It obviously wasnt unusual to talk to one. We will never know but its a fascinating story.

Do the people who hate Joe Rogan actually watch his podcast ? We often forget that he talks with experts but is always able to conduct a great interview/conversation on all these different topics. Can we acknowledge how impressive that is ? He'a also very warm and just a nice guy I find. I'm sorry so many people criticize him for the wrong reasons.

What is Joe even trying to say for half of this clip? Regardless if you believe it was Adam, Eve, and a snake or a warped telephone version of the story shouldn’t the teachings be the thing you worry about, which would be the same in both stories, not the semantics?

Queen Lilith came first, before Eve. She was Adam’s first wife, then Eve came after. Origins within the story goes Lilith didn’t want to be controlled by Adam, she wanted to be on top of Adam in an intimate way but Adam wanted to be on the top; so they suffered great disagreements. So eventually Lilith left Adam and the Angel who stood before the gates of Eden, reconciled with her. Saying that she knows if she leaves Eden she could never return. And what’s outside of Eden is foreign to her for she’d be leading herself into the unknown. But … she left anyway. Then she became damned and is known as Queen of the underworld. Then God blessed Adam with Eve, and eventually after that I’m sure many of us know how the story goes. Not so much long after Lucifer’s fall, he eventually slithered his way into the garden and manipulated Eve into eating from the tree of forbidden fruit; in which she did. Then Adam did as well. And now this is why we are all in Hell. Essentially it seems to me that we are all paying for our parents sins, but we’ll make it through. God has us as long as we have Him. If I must state some scripture for all to become accustomed to, especially within the stages of the world we currently live in would be to.. remain “vigilant for your adversary The Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour”. There is so much more to this entire creation that I feel all of our souls are longing for. But I truly believe soon in time, the truth will be revealed before all of our eyes and they shall be forever open; fixated on the glory that stands before them. May God bless you all.
