Wes is not a Bible Scholar let alone an apologist. He failed to even refute evolution in all its forms. This was a lame interview with Joe pretending to be impressed.
@julesj585316 сағат бұрын
I watched the entire interview, it was very interesting, Wesley brought receipts to every fact he shared about the bible, the language and culture, Jesus' death and resurrection, everything. I do recommend the interview, but be warned Joe Rogan cusses a few times.
@julesj585316 сағат бұрын
@@socalprestonwow, really? You thought it was lame? I do agree he could've discussed and refuted evolution a lot better, although he did say he is "not a scientist and he thought he should stay in his lane", but the interview was well done.
@socalpreston16 сағат бұрын
@@julesj5853 I watched all of it too. Wes is overrated. Wes works for a so-called apologetic ministry. Joe gave him so many opportunities to show how correct the Bible is, but Wes was clueless. Wes reads a teleprompter on his channel. He is not cut out to debate or discuss the Bible. Wes believes in evolution. He doesn’t think the first three chapters of Genesis are true history. He is a leftist progressive. He “debated” a fool that anyone could have debunked. Joe brought him on to clean up his mess that he made. Billy made Joe look real bad.

@dreamchaser7603 As for controlling, everyone is controlled by something. No one really has freedom and peace. The only freedom you really have is whether you give your allegiance to God, or to the devil and your sin. Do you find that you can just stop doing things you know are wrong, or do you find that they are all you can think about?

God is working through Wes in a powerful way, and his presence is truly a breath of fresh air. In an era where KZbin is crowded with individuals pretending to be apostles and prophets, often inflating their popularity through artificial means, it's evident that many lack a genuine relationship with the Lord. Now, more than ever, we need authentic believers within the body of Christ. Wes stands out as a sincere brother who guides others to genuinely experience the love and salvation of Jesus, unlike the imposters who lead many astray.

It was full of claims. Wes himself called the resurrection a claim.
@supersilverhazeroker23 сағат бұрын
what does this mean? when i look up the definition of moralist: 1 one who leads a moral life (did Jesus not live a moral life?) 2 a philosopher or writer concerned with moral principles and problems (probably not what is being meant here) 3 one concerned with regulating the morals of others (probably what is being meant here) so i assume it's the third definition that we're talking about, but i cannot rhyme that with scripture. it kind of comes across as the free grace message (yes grace is free, but free grace is a modern theology where you have to mentally ascent to some historic facts for a moment and then you are good to go no matter what) why do we have 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 if we ought not to busy ourselves with the morals of others, particularly brethren? why does Jesus say things like why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? and My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. and Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. etc.

@nothing-xk8vr21 сағат бұрын
People don't attack Ray because he's a moralist. They attack his presentation of the gospel because he presents it with the hook that YOU have to TURN(or stop sinning) from sin to be saved. When the reality is that you are not able to stop sinning. This will frustrate or confuse would be saved individuals. You have to place your trust in Jesus completely to save you from your sins and not your ability to REPENT. Jonah 3:10 Repentance as he preaches it is a work and salvation is without works.
