Back in the day, when my older bro was 14, he skipped school with a girl, they could hookup at her house. Her neighbor saw them and told her father that she skipped school and snuck a boy in the house. He confronted his daughter and in fear of consequences for her actions, she said my brother raped her. He came to my mom's looking for my brother threatening to kill him. But quickly found himself at the business end of my cousin's pistol. She saw her father about to be shot and only came clean to save her father's life. Imagine if my cousin didn't have his pistol on him and this mother fucker came to kill my brother. She didn't say shit and was ok with her lies potentially causing my brother to be murdered. And she was ok with it. Bitches do this shit all the time.

Being attracted to other gender shouldnt be shame though….. but it doesnt mean that just because man enjoys spending time in group of women or one woman……that he wants automatically be with her. Its very healthy thing to enjoy social life … because as scientists say over the years our brain developed that way, that when man is in same room with woman , his body releases the hormones…..even if he is not attracted to her….th ehormone realease is very healthy for our brain and body, the person doesnt need a medication because of having healthy social contact with humans and genders. Its scientific fact about how man's body reacts even if there is noooo attraction…. Dear people wake up, and we shouldn't make people suffer scientific measurements say socialisation is healthy, I am not talking about physical touching in wrong place and time. Women on the other hand want to be liked, its in their dna as well over the thousands of years of evolution of human brain……because humans developed through social interaction, and hormone realease, serotonin, oxytocin but some may get serotonin melatonin, oxytocin release in different tomes than others. but there are people who have empathy toward each other therefore when they like woman in the room it doesn't mean they take it as an invitation automatically because they also have their own life, and other hobbies etc he may tell some woman nice to meet you and never meet her again. because he has his own wife at home or girlfriend. why we can not be civilised and understand the fact that men have hormonal release in brain even though if he is completely not attracted to her....she can be old, fat, and his brain releases hormones anyway as Professor Sam Vaknin says….. but people dont realise that the planet Earth is not 1000 years old but the human race and hormones developed hundreds and thousands of years.

What should this really solve? Because the problem is not that to many women accuse man falsly, but that we don´t have good evidence in a lot of cases to be sure what happend or did not happen. So the evidence will not become better and does not solve the core problem. The other thing is, harsher punishments will not really reduce how often a crime is done. So the women that falsy accuse man, will not stop that, because of harsher punishment, because punishment does not really work. It "helps" the society which feels better, because the people that did something wrong got what "they deserved" but it does not change the problem.

A friend of mine went out picked up a female they ended up drunk and having sex. She decided it was rape the next day after she sobered up. My friend is arrested, posts bail, then has to defend himself in court. Turns out it was all consensual sex but she was embarrassed. She had actually accused 9 other men of the same situation. My friend was just innocent and didn’t know how to shut up when the police interrogated him. He was acquitted. But the cost to his reputation, the cost of this lawyer, and the loss of his job... He has zero way of getting any of these things back. I’m not saying that rape doesn’t happen but there should be a way to sue the DA and the detective for pushing this situation as far as they did.

This was similar to what happened in my case. I was at a party, sober, party wound down and I was tired so decided to crash on the couch instead of driving home. Some girl I never even knew was at the party woke me up in the morning and asked if I could drive her home. I obliged. We stopped and had breakfast and I dropped her off at her house. A few days later the cops came and interrogated me in my living room in front of my mom about her accusation that I raped her. The police didn't arrest or charge me, and a few weeks later she recanted her story. Fucked me up mentally. I still don't completely trust that my family believes my innocence, nor alot of my friends that know about it. I'm terrified to this day about intitiating intimacy with a woman, or being alone for any length of time with a female I don't know well.

Can we talk about the responsibility of individuals to carefully choose their sexual partners? Seriously, "don't go to bed with someone you don't know well" wasn't purely an artifact of prudish Victorian era norms. There are a laundry list of extremely practical reasons to hold off on sex until you're entirely confident that this person is someone you would be okay possibly conceiving a child with, and ensuring that they respect you enough to listen to "No" is one of them.

Granted, yeah, people shouldn't get wasted and bang random people, or bang random people based on a selfie online, but they shouldn't be falsely accused and have their lives ruined either. That being said, I'm not a religious person (not atheistic either), but there are very practical reasons to avoid the cardinal sins (including most relevantly, lust), as Lust, Gluttony, Sloth etc. are actually physically/mentally harmful to people. Ultimately, people do need to take more personal responsibility and exercise a little self control. If they let their brains control their libidos instead of the other way around, didn't get plastered every weekend, these problems probably wouldn't be so widespread.

Somebody regretting their own poor judgement/lack of willpower doesn't justify violence. Now if he had actually sexually assaulted her, I'd have no problem with knocking his teeth out. Plenty of people have regrettable consensual sexual encounters and they don't go beat the shit out of the other person, that's juvenile/illegal (clearly, as she was charged with assault).

@Jennifer Boehm - Well yeah, he's not going to walk into a club with a "PUA" tag on, but they all employ some pretty predictable tactics/scripts etc., but again, not being self-aware and having poor judgement (that isn't induced by drugging etc.) or self-control don't justify violence. If you're hoping to find boyfriend/husband material in a club/seedy bar, you're probably at the wrong venue.
@yellowblanka6058
@yellowblanka6058 5 жыл бұрын
@Jennifer Boehm - Well, we're just going to have to agree to disagree with violence being the answer to regret over a consensual sexual encounter. People have intelligence/rationality/free will, we're not rutting animals. Also, if she was a virgin (as you seem to be implying with the whole "thievery" schtick), and had non-influenced consensual sex with him, he didn't "steal" anything, she gave it willingly to him. I wouldn't takes anything a gelled/spray-tanned/body-sprayed up douche in a thumping club says at face value, hopefully that's a lesson your friend has learned. One thing I've learned though is that more than a few people will do anything to avoid accepting partial/full responsibility for their mistakes.

@Jennifer Boehm - And aforementioned intelligence/rationality negates deceit (in most cases). Was this guy a slimeball for conning your friend to get another notch on his bedpost? Yeah. Did he force her to sleep with him? No. Maturity occurs from learning from your mistakes so you don't make them in the future. Again, not condoning this kind of behavior, but the solution is obviously to learn to spot these tactics, not violence. I also should note that I take exception to you saying this is something "men" do as I think that's generalizing, *SOME* unscrupulous men do this shit, but there are a lot of decent guys out there too.

Probably people do it wrong at beginning of relationship they should meet the parents…..to prevent any misleading stuff, to show some intention. Both should meet the parents….. she will show her willingness to his parents, he toward her parents. Problem solved. And if it will not work, or chemistry will not work, they may still explain things. In civilized society. But people want to meet the parents only if the relationship is more interesting of longterm.

I preface this with the fact that I was born in a military family and was raised as such. I was in college 1997.... My girlfriend of 4 years (all through H.S.) says I beat her to campus police. (her father and step sister beat her relentlessly in H.S.) Years after the fact I would come to know that this was how she was breaking up with me. Ive only been in one fight in my entire life at that point. In 2nd grade! I still welcomed a fight with her father to his face (at 16) after an "incident." I wasn't brought up on "official" charges (of course no proof because there was none), but I lost my (full ride) music scholarship, and my life was ruined for a time. I STILL TO THIS DAY, cant have normal associations with women. Im 40. Never been married. No kids. Meanwhile, this woman is married, has 3 children, and converted from Judaism to Christianity, and is doing missionary work in Israel. I was dragged out of my dorm room in cuffs at 6 AM to be treated within the parameters of this rape/abuse culture. My parents had to come get me after two weeks of judgemental glances, whispers and threats. I went home on my 19th birthday. I was wrecked. Obama didnt have anything to do with that. I just went to college in Alabama. I did nothing wrong except have a love and empathy for a troubled girl. All Im saying (if not a cautionary tale) is that this sort of thing has been going on for a whole hell of a lot longer than people might think. It wasnt easy to put this here (I may erase it) but maybe there's a kid out there who's going through the same. If you didnt do anything wrong speak up. Stand your ground. Also, please get help after. There's a whole lotta talk thats got to get out of you. Do it constructively and properly. You will save yourself a lot of pain. You all might hate on me but I dont care. Thanks for your time.

I worked as a sexual assault investigator for years and false allegations (that could be proven or were recanted by the complainant) happened regularly....however some complainants were talked into calling police after they told friends a story and the friends “picked up the torch” and then the complainant was painted into a corner and had to lie or lose face to their friends. Btw Investigators are pressured not to charge for false allegations when its sexual assault.

My only problem with #MeToo and the whole rape discussion is that guys who don't do anything wrong get roped into it, we somehow get lumped together with these creeps. When Harvey was caught it was a "see all men are rapist" moment for awhile. Besides that, if you don't want to be a victim then report it, always report it. The second you can get away go to a hospital and call the police, the longer you wait the worse it will be. Have the mentality of getting a rapist off the streets, that you don't want him to hurt other women. Yeah you're going to have to deal with this shit for months but in the end you're doing something good.

It's not their fault that they got raped but it is their fault if the man that rapes them gets to walk around free without their victims doing something to stop it. Take your own personal feelings out of it. What about all the other women who's rapes you could be preventing by speaking up? Why don't these women ever think about that? similar story happened to a good friend of mine in college where the girl came on pretty aggressively to him and she made all the moves. she was no "catch" as our grandparents might say (lol), in fact, in how i met your mother terms, she was the "reacher" and he was the "settler" if that helps paint the picture. but the next day she called the police and tried pressing rape charges; luckily there was like 8-10 people, all mutual friends, who saw the entire thing unfold and vouched for him and he was safe. i doubt this is a unique story except i'm not sure everyone is so fortunate to have a group of witnesses. side note- i also don't understand why she wasn't punished for false allegations... the worst part of this predicament is nobody really has a great solution to it. the only reason i tell this story when i assume most of the internet wouldn't give a fuck anyway is because men are always viewed as the "predator" and women, the "victim" and it's important to understand that it's not that simple so i hope everyone thinks critically when hearing the myriad of cases pouring out as of late.

you've missed the point but to entertain your argument, theoretically, yes he could have fought her, but at the time he was down for the cause. it wasn't til he sobered up the next day and realized what happened that he was like "oh shit... yyyuck" lol. but he also didn't try to press charges against her and destroy her life because he's a good guy and realized it was consensual, albeit a drunk regret. and frankly, i don't know if the legal system would even take his case seriously for the same reasons that inspired your snarky, myopic response. that said, that isn't the point. the issue is that because the law is heavy handed in favor of women, they can literally say whatever they want without the due process (as mentioned in the video) and damage or fully demolish the lives of innocent people on account of their own irresponsibility. it is precisely this reason i encourage you and anyone else to think critically about these cases and consider the evidence so that innocent men and women don't be treated as criminals.

i don't see this. having past that part of the discussion, brennan states that him and his female friend concluded in a discussion they had that was the case, probably through brennan's friend's experiences. and rogan said it may have something to do with not having a strong female presence in their life that influenced them to not understand women very well, which he said he was generally speaking. Generalizations are actually helpful in an analytical discussion on a group of people. Men treating women like they are lesser is more common than you think, it also happens in subtle ways, so its not easy to detect or notice. I agree it is a human thing, but there are notable differences in how genders treat one another due to their primal natures. Men and women communicate, and seek different things. Men and women are different, fact of life. Women are built to find a mate, and rear a child, thus her instincts are how to survive and protect said paradigm. So security which can come in money, status, and strength (mentally/physically), is an asset to protect said child and herself. Men look for in women fertility to conceive so they're usually attracted to the signs of fertility (wide hips, flushed cheeks, long hair). It even happens in nature, the two genders play two different roles for the survival of their species, collectively. So all they managed to do was talk about these roles of men and women, which even if rough around the edges are actually true to reality. edit: they also noted there are exceptions to the rules/roles, which is also true.

"men are only nice to get laid" This is true though. But that's just a white lie. Just like women's makeup make them look prettier is a white lie. Women and men have different strategies for getting what they want. *Some* men use niceness, regardless of whether it's a good strategy or not, but they shouldn't be called out on it, because women do exactly the same thing, just in their own way.

Women on the other hand want to be liked, its in their dna as well over the thousands of years of evolution of human brain……because humans developed through social interaction, and hormone realease, serotonin, oxytocin but some may get serotonin melatonin, oxytocin release in different times than others. but there are people who have empathy toward each other therefore when they like woman in the room it doesn't mean they take it as an invitation automatically because they also have their own life, and other hobbies etc he may tell some woman nice to meet you and never meet her again. because he has his own wife at home or girlfriend. why we can not be civilised and understand the fact that men have hormonal release in brain even though if he is completely not attracted to her....she can be old, fat, and his brain releases hormones anyway as Professor Sam Vaknin says….. but people dont realise that the planet Earth is not 1000 years old but the human race and hormones developed hundreds and thousands of years.

Sure, there are female predators. Recent studies have even found that there are far more of them than previously thought; but the fact remains that men still commit the lion’s share of violent offences. As far as we can tell from available data, women are responsible for something like 5% of sexual offences (maybe a little more if you try to account for underreporting). That leaves around 95% of offences being committed by men - so your assertion of there being “just as many” female predators is wholly inaccurate, js.

One question: what about the huge backlog of rape kits not tested from reported rapes? These women spoke up, went through the horrible process of reporting to the police, submitting to the exam, had to be checked out for every kind of STD....they are waiting for something to happen so they can possibly get some sort of closure. There are thousands upon thousands if these kits not processed to find a perpetrator. This whole Me Too movement is spitting in their faces!
@MrColin159
@MrColin159 6 жыл бұрын
It's going to get worse than unprocessed rape kits. If even less than half of the#MeToo stuff turns out to be malicious fabrications, then who's going to even bother looking into genuine rapes. Every rapist will just say, "Well, we all know what fucking liars women are." And a cop will remember times when consensual sex became 'rape' weeks after the event and her feminist friends convinced her she wasn't in control because she'd had a half a beer. And he'll give the guy a pass.

Women "otherize" men as well. Honestly society discriminates in both directions. We believe women should be treated better than men in some contexts, and worse than men in others. Who has gotten the worse of it over the course of history ? Women. Who is getting the worse of it in 2018 in the West ? Hard to say, but one could make a case that it's men, once you factor in how many men's lives have been destroyed by the "guilty until proven innocent" standard that is now ruling society. The fight for equality is far from over, because there's progress to be made in both directions.

I have law abiding altruistic children who turned out great. Being a single mom doesn’t “cause” criminals, poverty does, just so happens many single mothers are not fortunate as I am (college education and good fiscal skills). Low income single dads produce criminals as well, they’re just a smaller percentage of the population.

A great solution is not having sex with people you don't want to make a life. Sounds old fashioned, but if you think about it, you just have to be careful. If you can't talk about sex with the person you want to have sex, probably it's not a good idea to have sex with them. And also don't get wasted, men and women who get wasted obviously are not thinking clearly from the very first beer. That's why it is illegal to drive under alcohol. Its common sense. Protect yourself, be careful and smart. You have to be responsible for your decisions and who you make "Friends" with.

I graduated 3.5 years ago with my Ph.D. I'm currently teaching physics and chemistry at a local college. I've had to take exhaustive videos on Title-IX and it's secretly all male bashing in terms that all the men in the videos are creeps and the logic behind all of it is downright insane. I replaced a professor who had two accusers of sexual harassment. At the time, I really didn't pay too much attention. In retrospect, I started investigating his removal and was quite horrified on what I found. The fired professor, upon being accused, immediately called the police. However, because of formalities, the university demanded he call off the investigation and that justice would be served. A week later he was fired. That's it. Overall, I do believe he received a severance package but I really don't know. I do know the university didn't do a formal investigation according to my male boss. A lot of male professors have already taken severe precautions on not being accused. For instance, I do not let a female into my office ever. Male students are welcomed. If a female wishes to discuss dealings with school or tutoring we have to go directly to the library. Already all my female colleagues (who are all feminists) say I'm taking things too far and in a way I'm being sexists, I reply, according to your mantra an accusation, without investigation, is proof. All school functions have become all female events. The majority of male colleagues see it as dangerous especially when alcohol is present. Personally, especially in these witch hunts, as a man, I would prefer all male classes. In one case, I was in a coffee shop when a male student asked for help on integrating exponential functions. Of course, I helped. However, when two other female students showed, as soon as he left, I politely resigned from helping them anymore. This is simply the only way to navigate and meander these waters where an accusation is all it takes in ruining your career. What I find most repulsive are the double standards implemented on men. I'm a bodybuilder, runner, and take care of my body very well. Spending six years in the Army Medical Corp. I learned the value of a well conditioned body. I get hit on a lot by female colleagues and students. I'm 36 and look young. Students and colleagues freely say what they want to say to me. On the other hand, if the comments were reversed, well, I wouldn't have a job. There is no recourse I can take. I already have a series of e-mails saved of students and one colleague making advancements. Do I really care about this? No, of course not. However, what scares the living day lights out of me is by me basically not showing any form of interest, may eventually make my rejection become an allegation of harassment.

You are practicing the tenets of MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way); Eschewing marriage, cohabitation and avoiding intimate relations because any woman can cry rape at any time for any reason. The only self defense of this that is left to men is to stay away from women unless it's absolutely necessary and then only in the presence of witnesses and I would strongly urge you to purchase and wear a body cam.

Thomas Labat, did you even read my response? Respectfully, is English your primary language? When did I ever state I wasn't helping females during office hours. This is the only time I'm mandated by my official duties to help students and everyone gets helped. I NEVER once stated that I don't help females. I stated that I only help male students on my own free time. I do my job quite well. My students pass all national exams in the top 20% consistently. My classes fill up 1st within my department. Fear of consequence? Let me get this straight. All it takes is an accusation, by a female, and I lose my job and career I've worked so hard to attain. The #MeToo movement has disregarded logic and proof as the prime motivator in assigning guilt. So, if a female student, fails my class, if she wishes to end my career by lying, she can do so. There is no recourse. I'm fired and my career is over. Your approach is to not think logically about how to lower your chances of a false acquisition. What happens to false accusers? Nothing. So, please, explain to me how your logic is sound because you're not making any sense. Have you even investigated the hyper paranoia of #MeToo movement?

I've been wrongly accused. Questioned, but never charged. It has ruined my life. I profoundly insist on never being alone in the same room as a woman ever again. I'd cross the street before walking past a woman passerby on the same side. A woman doctor went to examine me once and she was shocked at how i reacted when she touched my arm. I automatically flinched and she saw how shaken i was afterwards. There is no aftercare system in place for people like me. My accuser was purely motivated by money and the desire to gain attention and jump on the abuse bandwagon. She can get on with her life without a second thought about the damage she has done and it's disgusting. She was the last woman i would ever be with intimately and i've spent the last 15 years taking each day at a time, struggling to acknowledge the fact that i've changed deep down. I'm a hardened cynic nowadays and my attitude towards humanity in general has been turned on it's head. Men like me now live in a wide awake nightmare where it's our word against hers and where there's no smoke without fire. The system is designed to believe the woman regardless of the truth and that needs to change.
