They could and they do. It's an industry in itself. Joe even mentioned when talking to Bisping that there are camps who hire labs to help them stay one step ahead and cheat. The fact is the tests can still be beaten and because of that you have to suspect that some athletes will still want to try. Also the labs aren't suddenly going to disappear as even if one sport goes clean and their athletes decide to stop using, there will always be others in other sports.

I appreciate Joe trying to get to the bottom of this. I do trust Joe tbh. And I want to believe Novitski is telling the truth, but he can't really explain why Jon got such an unprecedentedly shortened penalty. And saying he's not involved with that part so he doesn't know, feels convenient. I'm even willing to believe Jon actually may not have done it again this time. But the shortened suspension for no apparent reason is kind of at the heart of this matter. At least for me it is. And the type of compartmentalization Novitski cites for not knowing, gives each entity or "compartment," deniable plausibility. So they're not working together, but all of their work comes together to get a superstar an anomalously short suspension. Someone is ultimately in charge, or a liaison or something at least. Lastly, Novitski said part of their decision was the fact that, "There was no evidence Jon had taken it on purpose." What? Like finding a steroid in someone's system? Like that kind of evidence? So, maybe I'm being devil's advocate, but is there any evidence that he didn't do it on purpose? Also, Novitski says one athlete may not have done it on purpose, but the athlete still had it in his system, so USADA had to weigh that. Well, Jones has turinabol in his system, so does USADA need to weigh that? Sad to say, imo, Novitski is becoming less and less believable. But I respect his willingness to discuss it. And I appreciate Joe for trying to sort out this mess. It's still crazy!

So basically Jon just used a shit ton of loopholes to lower his sentence from USADA.

Jon repeatedly claims he's never knowingly put any banned substance in his body to gain an advantage. How could he possibly help usada? To any worthwhile degree?

Until there is a way to prove whether or not it gives performance enhancing benefits, the line should be drawn at 1 piccogram.

So on ufc countdown we saw fighters using special equipment where the fighter goes into a capsule and they experience changes in temperature, air density etc. Apparently it helps fighters recover faster and enhances them "naturally". Now my question is: where is the line drawn on performance enhancing? Are pills and liquids a no no? And special capsules, equipment ok? it's just a question, let's talk about it.

The real reason is because Dana White needed to get rid of Frank Mir and needs Jon Jones to make him money. Dana INSTRUCTED Jeffery, he’s the boss. Just like how there’s videos and witnesses talking about Conor’s coke problem and obvious steroid usage. Conor is a money maker, that’s all that matters. Rules only matter when you aren’t needed...

You're witnessing the pivotal moment in a man's life. Sell your soul to corporate or keep your integrity. Novisky chose corporate. It's painful to watch him try to sell this.
