Those bigger pry bars sure save your butt when you need one. I own Cornwell's 60" pry bar and it makes changing tracks on skid steers and mini excavators a lot easier.

Makes sense, considering that tool is also known as a tanker bar. It’s literally designed for changing tracks on full-size tanks.

Clay im almost 99% sure the new matco pry bars are made in Taiwan now, even the pliers that look like the old channel lock made sets are Taiwan made now. Matco is just becoming a Taiwanese private label with gearwrench made tools for the majority. I think thats a big reason they don't wanna go totally blue handle everything since it would take over sales of the private label cornwell tools that we see with other brand names like gearwrench.
@felixf52113 жыл бұрын
AFAIK, Matco severed their relationship with Apex two years ago. This lead to the repositioning of the Sata line.
@Toyotas_n__Tools3 жыл бұрын
@@felixf5211 I agree now that I'm starting to see that more and more of their items are switching away from gearwrench also but they still have a few apex made tools. I think once they sell out of their stock in them they will introduce something from a new manufacturer. Astro pneumatic is a big time private label tool maker who makes tools for lots of different brands who have a licensing agreement with the seller of the tools and so you won't see those tools in a astro catalog for sale.
