You listen to the final product and you never realize how much work went into the mixing, getting the timing and sound right, etc., etc. Love these glimpses into the process.

I remember first hearing this song! I was so blown away by it --it was amazing! My brother, who was a guitar player, God rest his soul, practiced this song for he and his band, Retribution. They had it down real good! Satch woulda been proud!

i bought this cassette at the mall in phx AZ when i was 20, working on a construction crew working harder than i ever had, listening to it over and over in my shitty little datsun pickup truck w/mag wheels i saved and bought and put on it thinking i was free and the coolest kid ever. The best guitar playing i'd ever heard. That tone.. So good. Thanks for everything Joe!

Joe is a rock n roll biological entity of the very highest order, I've been fortunate to have seen him live three times ,and even got to meet him and see him shape shift into a chrome guitar and he is one of the nicest beings i have ever met.

...unless you have a cookie :) Continuing the "sitar" at a slightly more elevated volume for ongoing rhythm soooo much more seasons the whole recipe with magic. 8:30 - 9:36 nails it. I wish I could hear that on the "official" video too. Instead, it's buried there. Glad this version's available to us now. Thanks!
