Is there anything this boy can't do?? He has an impeccable sense of rhythm it's honestly mind-blowing. It's wildly impressive that he can keep up with such a fast pace with such ease, and Dianne isn't easy on him with choreography at all! It's so energetic and wild and original. He couldn't have been paired with a better partner. These two are hands down THE BEST duo this year and I sincerely hope they win or at least reach the semi-finals/finals. 😀 GO #JOANNE 😆❤

Wow! I am extremely impressed by this! There was so much energy, even more than last week! I think he is amazing, and starting to live up to his fan base's compliments! There were only a couple of things I saw, his swivel could have been a little better, and his moves a little bit less frantic, but wow this was a joy. I can see him in semi-finals at least! 7.5.

Realistically, joe should be top of the leaderboard as the 2 celebs above him are famous from dancing and have both had dance lessons before whereas joe has never danced in his life

I love Joe, but the judges can't mark people down just for having danced before. Faye and Ashley are both better dances than he is, even if they are trained, and it's not up to the judges to reward Joe for having no prior experience. The public can do that.

Precisely. If the contest was decided entirely by the judges, then it would be unfair, but the final decision comes down to the pubic. It's not the case that people with dance experience never win - Joe McFadden, Jay McGuinness, Caroline Flack and Tom Chambers all had varying amounts of prior training - but the public at least likes a winner that improves throughout. Dance experience helps with technique, but not popularity, so I think it all evens out.

There is a difference, but any kind of thorough dancing still gives you a big advantage. No problem with her being in the competition, but I do wish the dance trained contestants would admit that having danced before DOES make it easier - it's tiresome when they act like they're just as lost as complete novices.

Absolutely terrific, Joe. I was a professional dancer trained in tap since I was 12 and before that by my father who was a part of tap act in Vaudeville. I wasn't a great dancer, but I worked in revues and on French TV shows for 20 years. This is so good because the "eccentric" dance style makes any awkwardness in your movements just seem part of the performance. I haven't seen any of the other dances if you've done any, but this one is top notch.

So yes, Joe is a really good dancer, especially given he's not danced before. I'm really, really impressed and I've been watching Strictly for a few years now! He is very very good. But please give some time to look at and appreciate the other dancers in the competition too. There are some other amazing dancers and dances that are worth a look. :)
