I always liked his flute work with Joe's guitar on Days gone bye.

Barnstorm has some beautiful drumming on it and really interesting production, phased toms, synths. Joe V is a very under rated ensemble drummer. He plays to the song with perfection.

What a great drummer this man is. Inherent talent. One of the best in my opinion. I have to say that I don't understand why some people felt the need to criticize the interviewer. We are entitled to our opinion, none of which are right or wrong, but we are watching a great interview we would not otherwise be watching if not for the man who interviewed Joe and shared it with us. I rather liked the conversation like style of the interview unlike the interview that simply shoots of questions from a sheet of paper. Good job Henry.

Joe Vitale did his drumming-magic on a song I wrote, together with John Moulder and Colin Tench. I am still pinching my arm... We all are so proud of this, and it is a huge highlight for our musical career. It was for our project' Transmission Rails' and the song is called 'Books'. His drum-work is so perfect. Thank you mr Vitale! It is here on KZbin: Transmission Rails - Books

It says a lot about the man when he can play with and maintain such a good relationship with someone as conservative as Ted Nugent and have the same long standing relationship w/ people as liberal as CSN. That's how it should be.

Understandable, Henry. I probably would have done the opposite with Joe V - starstruck and just sat there mute. Great to see any kind of interview with this legend.

Interesting interview despite the interviewer's unpleasant habit of interrupting Mr. Vitale. Next time, let the subject talk. You'll get better results if you let them ramble instead of trying to "relate." You're not there to "relate." You're there to prompt and listen, nothing more.
