Fantastic guitarist and zany fellow too! One of my most memorable moments in a 30+ year ham radio "career" was the night I heard this unmistakable voice on the 80 or 40 meter band I was tuned into....heard the callsign and first name so I looked it up in the database: sure enough, THE Joe Walsh gabbing with his pals. And he was FUNNY!!! Walsh being an extra class operator and myself a general class, the section of the band he was operating on was outside my privileges. Could only listen in to him!!! 😢
