Accidentally came across your videos and wanted to let you know I found them to be very relaxing. My wife and I live in Southeastern Oklahoma in a rural community and both have health issues so I spend a lot of time indoors at home. I enjoy the peaceful lifestyle of camping but am not as able as I use to be so it is nice to find a channel of someone enjoying and sharing their experiences. I really liked the small cabin/tent and the way you have it set up. I also liked the fact that you are keeping journals while you are there. I think the most relaxing part for me is that while you are camping you are doing the necessary things to make your time there enjoyable but at the same time you are keeping a routine your are also just enjoying your time there and seemed relaxed. A lot of the videos on youtube are survival videos or just seem so busy acting like they are trying to fight the elements in a lean to or something. I really just seem to enjoy your videos for what they are . I would like to offer you a suggestion to try the next time you bake a potato in aluminum foil. Take two pencils and set your potato between them on the cutting board. Slice the potato across the potato to where the knife comes down to the pencils, cut thin slices from one end to the other. Remove pencils. Next cut a single piece of bacon into one inch pieces and place between the slices, then season with salt and black pepper. Now place your potato on the foil and add your Onion, Mushroom bits, around the Potato. Next add a dash of Garlic powder and a sprinkle of Cayenne pepper powder , a drop or three of liquid smoke, and a couple of dollops of butter . Place some grated cheese on top of your potato ,then wrap the foil and close the edges leaving a small amount of room on top so cheese doesn't end up stuck to the foil. Then place it on the grill, and cook it like you normally do. After you take it off the fire and unwrap it , plate all and add your dollop of Sour cream. If you do try this and you like it let me know. beandavid6@gmail.com

Joe, this is Ann from Alabama. As usual, I loved your video. Melissa is so sweet. I'm happy for you both. Father made we women to complete a man, help y'all, and to motivate- some times by competition. I loved it when she said the small fish you caught was cute. You were also very sweet by admitting she filled an area in your life where you could use a womans' touch. Thank you both for sharing your lives with us!

Thats a great comment. Thank you. Melissa had to fly to Louisiana this morning and will fly back on Friday. We were planning on going up to Cloquet on Thursday night and then up to the Tent Friday morning but now we will stay here at the house in Anoka for the holiday weekend. It will give me time to get the rest of that garden in and get things spring cleaned around here. The flight back to Louisiana was unexpected but she needed some paperwork she could only get down there. I sometimes watch youtube on the big screen also. But then as everyone knows, I for sure am a big dork. haha.
