@@Damian-zu6ls "Drake is always clicking up with a rapper" Exactly, and this time it is a phony click up with the other guy people put in the big 3. He is also talking about out doing Michael J. The last verse ends with "it's a lot of goofies with a check" That is Drake. and the verse ends with "I'm snatchin' chains and burnin' tattoos" That alludes to the OVO tattoos his crew gets and the chains he gives them.

@SilverJoystix I actually plainly asked what does respect have to do with the original comment but okay. You said she needs to earn her respect.. I asked what does respect have to do with it ? someone else replied she adds nothing. The original comment was about her literally trying to add her take and being spoken over but not allowing that to happen. So what does respect have to do with anything the original comment was about. How can she “earn” her respect if when she adds her views she’s always spoken over.. but we can move on.

Man when I heard the Cole response I already knew I didn’t want to hear them dissing each other. He said Kendrick last album was trash, knowing damn well that album is the type of album Cole would love. Cole was right it was corny, and he let the internet bait him to do something he didn’t really want to do. Let Kendrick and Drake go at it, the 10 year build up was really just a Kendrick and Cole album, not them dissing each other. I do need Cole to come out and say, “I don’t want to diss my mans, but I’ll smoke anyone else that got something to say” or something.

Cole knew everything about it was corny. The weirdos gassed him up to diss Kendrick even tho Kendrick directly called out Drake. Cole looked like a dumb side chick jumping in front of a bullet for a dude that don’t gaf what happens to them. Then the actual diss he just straight up lied because he had nothing on Kendrick but I do think part of it is him knowing the industry and knowing Kendrick was having a hard time dropping because of TDE and that it wasn’t his choice to be quiet on the scene. People forget Kendrick did almost 600k first week before Drake ever did that and was getting ready to takeover the game and then up and disappeared….. now he’s back like the Avatar to restore balance when the game needed him the most.

Why do we act like we don’t know what Drake is gonna say? It’s always more of the same. All of his bars will be related to him having more money, more cars, more houses, more materialistic stuff, more women, etc. And people are gonna say oouuuuuuu. But honestly nobody cares about that in a rap battle

1:25:56 "Kendrick writes slower than Drake". Now that's been proven wrong during the battle, but how do you even say that bakc then when we all knew about Drake's ghostwriters?!

Ngl J. Cole probably set a precedence by bowing out. I can see it after people get over being so shocked. 😅

I’m glad J Cole backed out because it allowed Drake to get exposed and dragged
@marshallnash57057 ай бұрын
Perfect analogy. J.Cole is like KD everyone knows KD is great but they don't respect his legacy because he had to go Golden State to be Champion. Kendrick is like Kobe everyone knows he's feared. He's a killer but people haven't gave Kobe his flowers and disrespected his legacy. Kobe reminded everyone how great he was when he retired and later passed. In K.dots case alot of people forget how great Kendrick is and think he feel off. Drake is like LeBron He calls himself the G.O.A.T, his fanbase has him as the G.O.A.T. but most players have Kobe and MJ over him. In Drakes case his numbers is the best , but he doesn't get the respect from hip-hop purists and the older generation because we think he's pop and watered down. In conclusion everyone wanted to see Kobe vs Bron in the finals We didn't get a chance to see it. We will now.

Fire squad beat hard asf, produced by Cole himself, it's made for niggas to spazz out on, Alright is not a hard beat to go crazy on, jazzy beat so J. Cole had to take the approach of making a "whole" song, while all kenny had to do was rap lile a MF. Kenny had it easy, Cole didn't.
@210shron7 ай бұрын
@@CuriousNun I agree.. it doesn't take away the fact of the matter.. in they 1v1 Kendrick turned into a wizard.. Kendrick got other records besides alright🤷🏾♂️.. that's Cole vibe and that's why he picked it.. even if you compare both they verses on the same track Kendrick is up one off that alone "career damaging verses meditating with candles lit..

I can understand where Joe is coming from. He actually got punched in the face over rap beef. His homeboy got smacked over rap beef. And here, Cole is apologizing over something that was definitely supposed to be a competitive lyrical war of the words. Nothing more was expected.
@TheReelRapNerd7 ай бұрын
"Yall attacking the spirit of --" That's my issue with ppl calling this apology "mature for not engaging in negativity." I just cannot get down with downplaying the competitive nature of this sport, hip-hop.
