Ren is one of those exceptional artists who has the full package - he is charismatic, talented, manages to gather other incredibly talented people around him, gotta mention good looking _and_ the boy has heart, humility and is just so bloody .. real... he really is a once in a lifetime creator. Quick note - that UK number one was completely without the backing of a record company and a record companies money for publicity, no touring (obvs due to his health) or backing of another other than a shedload of people who appreciate him which is flipping amazing. -- Anyway great reaction.. take care

There's SO MUCH to love about the whole Red Suspenders Ren day, but one of the things I've come to be utterly DELIGHTED with and now never fail to focus on, is Glenn during Ren's intro verse here. It's admittedly hard to tear your attention away from Ren because that intro verse delivery - vocals and guitar both - are so mesmerizing... but I highly recommend people watch Glenn's subtle performance through the intro.

I'm jealous, Joe E! My brother is 10 years older than me. I think he'd humor me if I asked him to listen to Ren, but he's pretty much a classic rock only guy. I'd LOVE to be able to bond with him over music.

Also, if you want to bond with him over his music, try listening to some bands like Led Zeppelin or Queen or the Beatles, I even heard nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers on the classic rock station etc. those types of bands are liked by lots of people.
