I decided, at long last, to create a poem of my own devising from one of Joe's prompts. Memories in the Attic Up the pulled-down ladder we ascend To times begun and to times end Digging through boxes, items galore We’ve forgotten what was stored Underneath the roof of our home Old photographs, a garden gnome, And relics from eras long past our time Up that ladder we have climbed Not my best work, but I liked writing it, and isn't that what truly counts?

They look really good decorating your cave, and I love the copper bridge!

From Scar's Surprise Waxing Service (a surprise every time) we now are down to Scar's surprise Axing Service? Yes, please! I'm glad I discovered your channel, sir and I'm also glad you're taking such good care of your past Wordles. But I'm also a bit worried to be honest. You see, a Wordle is a bit of a capricious creature. They thrive in big groups (schools) among themselves, but they feel most threatened by other 5-letter words. Which is why they didn't do too well on Keralis' ATTIC above the DISCO or next to GHAST. They won't last long around STONE, so please take that into consideration. While they have no real issues with 6- or more letter words, they feel safest and most appeased enclosed in 4- or less letter words, like moss or tuff. And please, never store them in a CHEST! Thank you.

Hey Joe! Open a shop where you sell animals including axolotls. You can collect animals like pandas, dogs, cats, llamas, etc. This would be especially useful for hermits needing animals such as cats for farms. To keep them from de-spawning, you could name them with a name tag “Name” and specify to hermits if they want them renamed; just do so with another name tag. Personally I believe this would be an amazing business venture and a fun twist to the season as-well as produce content for hermits and yourself! (Would love to see this as a regular shop or possibly sort of a vending machine. Click a button and the animal pops out in a boat/minecart.) Keep up the good work!😁

Wow, maybe Keralis needs to sweep his attic out more often, and that might have kept the Wordles from getting so dusty around the edges? ;) But yeah, in retrospect it was pretty obvious that they'd curl up like old posters... I really loved the -Wordle Border- -Word Bordello- World Bordle idea; so sad that didn't pan out! But at least this means you get to keep your Wordles a bit handier so they can be duly admired more often! It's a pity the accidental axolotl farm didn't happen in time to carry them over to the HHH ocean monument clearing...

I love the story these Wordles have gone through and I'm glad they found a great new home. And now to create a poem :) Memories in the Attic We store things in the spaces left over; in attics and in the spaces in between. We store toys from days that reside in the past. We store decorations from holidays that come to pass. Why not store memories that we want to last? Store them for a day that has not yet arrived, waiting to be seen.

Loved the episode. Now inspired words from the prompt. The attic of memory is smaller and more disorganized than I used to think. As time presses in on the sides, I think it gets smaller. Concentrate and write down the good and keep hold of all of them as long as you can, because as it grows smaller, the darker it will get with what was mostly sad and bad.

Memories in the Attic (a sonnet): In boxes long unopened lie the ghosts Preserved in calcite like the marbled saints Of ancestors we salvaged from the coast Clawed from their sedimentary restraints. I treasure still the intimacy shared Between the fragile spectacle and I In near two-hundred million years unbared I’d been the first to see, and death defy. Adult exhaustion gripped me as I spent Long hours squinting at the pebbled shore Where childhood eyes (collecting dust) had leant Their spark to spotting treasures by the score. The one I found today is small and gold And sweetens still the memory I hold. (Today I went fossil hunting on a beach I haven’t been to since I was a child. From that first trip, I brought back dozens of ammonites in fragile clay, which now live in a box in the attic, largely unappreciated since, but utterly magical to have collected myself then. Today, out in the wind and rain, I only found a couple, but one was tiny and pyrite, both more durable and more exquisitely preserved than any I’d collected on that first trip. I’d been losing faith that I’d forgotten how to see them.)

"Memories in the Attic" I do not have an attic. I am living now, back in my childhood home; Filled to the roof with memories and with no extra space to store them in - no room to make new ones. All of who I have been threatens to suppress all of who I could be. I wish I had an attic, a place out of the way and out of sight, where I could put the baby books and school pictures and Christmas ornaments and memories made physical. I need space now for the household supplies I accumulated while living away - the broom and the cool shower curtain and the good paring knife - and for the dream that I can't give up on of needing it all again. I need an attic. But if I had one, I know that it would contain (constrain) the household supplies and my dreams, not the baby books and other momentos of a person who no longer fully exists.
