All good advice Joe. I’m sure the dealer inspects the sliders on the track suspension as well as track alignment and tension. You would be surprised how many good people never touch the suspension adjustments. I tweaked mine forever until it was perfect….for me. Great video, looks like a super dealership

Hey Joe! That antique sled you showed at the first of this video, I know a guy that was a dealer when they first come out. I forget the year. But he’s still got the very first sled he ever ordered, still on the same pallet it came on. I don’t think it’s ever had gas put in it. A real gem.

I snow checked a 2024 expy se with 900 ace. So you didn't like the halogen lights that came with it? Are the led's brighter? I would recommend a skid plate for your sled for what you do if you don't already have one.

Yeah I didn’t think the original lights were bright enough at night over 39moh so I switched I also added the heated cell phone holder and extended glove box and wider skis

I’m trying to find the hitch that will hook up to the otter sled. What system did you use?

I used the ski too heavy weight hitch to the otter hitch with a pin

I live in Washington Maine I have my own shop dealing in marine parts etc. I sold one of the Amish guys a boat trailer they bought. Week after I saw it in whitefield they took the rubber tires off put wagon wheels on it lol.

Very cool thanks for sharing. The guys at Chase said they are not allowed to ride a snowmobile so it comes down more to the propulsion via motor rather than the tred or track I guess.

Don't forget to Grease your sleds!! There are several Zerk grease fittings on the front and track suspension.

Hey Joe - stumbled into your channel recently … really enjoying the content. I have the mate to your sled. Had the same trouble as you depicted in the video last winter breaking trail into a remote lake towing the tobaggan - one ski would break through and there you were… I’ve been planning on putting ski skins on to help. What model are these skins?

Welcome aboard! Thanks for checking it out. Loving the Ski Skins its crazy how much nicer the ride on the deep stuff is. Like training wheels for me. I got them from my dealer, Chase Toys. I think they are Ski Doo I don't know.

What engine did you go with? I just picked up a '23 expedition with the 900 ace turbo R and so far love it. I cant wait to get it out fishing Lakers in Canada. Hoping the last bout of snow dosnt produce a bunch of slush, if it did though is why i went with Turbo.

Non turbo means lower gear rating perfect for ice fishing,turbo R has abit higher gear setting kinda stress ur skidoo up,I want the turbo R so bad but it’s mainly fishing sled,I’m stuck between the two 😅

What size trailer are you using for it? Are you happy with the size you went with?

I used a 14 last year and it was perfect for Solo trips with a ton of gear or double with not much gear, I picked up a 22 footer this year to do Double trips with a lot of gear.

I didn’t like the spring scratchers I had last season I’ve had really good luck with the cables so I went back to the cables.

Thanks, Chase informed me it’s a big no no for them to be on snowmobiles and gas propelled machines, although they can use gas propelled machines for work like generators, sawmills, motors it’s the transport is how it was explained.
