I’ve thought about it, realistically for my driving style the Turbo S is probably a better fit. But something about the NA car at 9k RPM that’s hard to beat. Also love the rarity of the GT3 👌🏼

What you took out would cost about 7k to replace, that's the part cost of around 6k and about 1000 in labour from Porsche, source: Porsche Atlanta, would have cost you 5k plus selling the headers to get new akrapovics or similar.

Actually we, europeans, remove the particle filter too as it is a pain in the ass that requires maintenance over time. The OPF exists just because of the emissions / pollution regulations. I bet Porsche engineers didn't want to install such a solution in the exhaust pipes, but they have to. It's not the Porsche engineers that may be upset, but the actual regulators (and entities who control emissions).

Nope, it’s behind all the O2 sensors so there’s nothing even monitoring if they’re installed or not. In the EU there’s another set of sensors behind the OPF filters so this would in fact throw a light on non US Spec cars.

I should have shown in the video, behind what we removed (OPF Filter) is a whole different set of filters for the actual Cat and O2 sensors. We only removed the OPF filter. Not sure what it’s made out of, but I don’t think anyone’s buying up used OPF filters in the US 💀
