@@maggiechaconas249 it was still good. If i remember rightly the Edgar Allen Poe Hotel actor had some really good scenes. The first season made me decide to read the 3 books, and i believe he changes to different 'sleeves' in every book. But yeah Kinnaman was great in the first season.

Just finished watching "The Killing" tv series on HULU and Joel Kinnaman does a fantastic dramatic and humorous take on his character "Holder", an Undercover Cop who has just become a Homicide Detective in Seattle. His glib street smart attitude gets him in to to places that his experienced new partner Linden can't enter. Loved all 4 seasons.

The Killing was truly phenomenal. Joel Kinnamen and Mireille Enos had such a unique chemistry. It kinda surprised me when he started showing up in all the action-movie type roles after that show-he clearly has the talent and skill sets for an incredible range, and depth, of roles.

Just watched the movie. If you are a big fan of John Wick like movies, then its definitely must watch film. Realistic fights, top acting by Joel even though he speaks only once, audio and visuals are amazing. Plot is quite simple, but it is all about action and drama. 8/10.

When he speaks English off camera or in face to face interviews on chat shows you can easily hear that English is not his native language. He has a clear Swedish accent and makes small grammar mistakes that a native speaker would never make. On camera in his TV shows though, his English is perfect, you would never be able to tell that he's not a native speaker.

I watched the movie last night because i needed some action. and i didn't care if it was going to be shit i just knew that john woo can bring me the action i need. the movie was shit of course. great action and the most important thing: i watched the movie because of Joel Kinnaman at the first place because i love him and maaan, he gives a 10/10 performance in this movie. he was just fantastic and it's so sad and tragic that such charismatic and well-performer actor with absolute potential of being a great movie super star not being given opportunities that he deserves. it's never too late. also Tom Perphy. hell, he's even way better actor that Kinnaman! they should do a movie together i think.
