The committee is gonna push HARD for 2 SEC playoff teams if Alabama beats Georgia. Joel is 💯 regarding Lincoln shutting the tap to the East off. If he and Mario can lockdown California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona…and Utah for that matter (a lot of decent talent from Utah lately), then Bama, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, etc. will become piranhas fighting each other for Southern and Eastern recruits and won’t have the same talent they do now where they get the number one QB. RB, WR, DE, etc. they might get the number one of one position, but number eight at the other.

The west coast, especially California, has always had great High School talent and many probably wanted to stay but had to choose Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, because that's how they get to The NFL. Colin is absolutely right about Iowa continuing to be the Fake ID of college football. They might have 10 wins, but name a quality win they have? Penn State? The team that finished 7-5 *unranked* and they only won cuz Penn's QB got injured. Iowa State? Also 7-5 *unranked*
