I don't think the teams outside the t0p 4 are all that great, have some questions about a cpl of those as well. A nobody from south Louisiana smoked the cfp's #6 team earlier this year, I'd pick Cincinnati over LSU at this point and they just beat the #7 team in their house with a bunch of scrubs off the bench. I'd have Cincinnati at 6 minimum, probably over A&M at 5. If they get in and suck it up, it wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Honestly though, I don't think there's a chance that any team in the top 4 currently drop out win or lose.

Just go to 8 teams. - 5x P5 conference champs - 1x G5 Team - 2x At-Large Bids That way you reward conference champions. Give a G5 team a chance. And still leave the door open for a team or 2 with a good resume.

Here’s what you need to do with the playoff: expand to 8 teams. Winner of Sec, Acc, Big Ten, Big 12, and Pac 12 conferences get an automatic playoff spot. And then there’s 3 wild card spots to be decided of the best remaining teams that didn’t win the power five conference. However any group of 5 school that goes undefeated gets a wild card spot automatically. This would be an amazing system

No it would not. That means that you can take 2 losses in a season and still make the playoff. That makes it where teams that do not even have a quality win like the group of 5 make the playoff. The regular season needs to matter.
