A lot of y'all are confusing being a better for meaning faster. That's not true. Running involves much more than speed. I'd argue Murray/Vick/Jackson are even on speed judging from an eye test. What I think Klatt means when he says Murray is a better runner coming out of college is that Murray os more efficient with his running. Meaning he doesn't take hits, he doesn't dance around and is efficient with his movements, and he knows when to run instead of running at the first sign of trouble.

Stares down one receiver. Is a one read QB. Chooses to throw into triple coverage when the one read isn't open. Looks to run asap. Alabama having a complete collapse in defense later in the game has nothing to do with his QB'ing. Very rarely do NFL defenses have collapses like that. If Murray was actually as good as fans think the Giants wouldn't be drafting Haskins over him and the Jags wouldn't have agreed on a multimillion deal with Foles.

Oklahoma's Off line was the exact equivalent of any off line in the NFL today and height was never an issue. In this years draft he has the best skill set and any team with a half way decent off line will see immediate wins. This guy can really throw the rock and play the position.

Velocity is only part of what makes a fastball hard to hit. Spin rate is the main thing. If someone throwing 95 also has 2800 RPM then people will have a harder time hitting that pitch than someone throwing 99 with 2000 RPM.
