Joel Kramer Israel Study Tour 2019 - #5 Mt. Moriah

The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem is over the biblical site of Mt. Moriah, the Mountain of God. Joel explains the eight layers of the site from Abraham's altar to the current Islamic Shrine. He also shows us the highest place of the temple ground, the traditional place where James was thrown off of and the lowest place (NW corner), where the Antonio Fortress was located. Joel also gave us a lesson of the olive tree, showed us evidence of a wall line from Solomon's temple and took us to the Archaeology Park containing stones that the Roman Legion threw down in the destruction of 70 AD. As Joel shows us the archaeology of this amazing site, he also gives us the biblical account and it is amazing.
