I appreciate the way Andy interviews his guests, he asks good questions that most of the time are what the fans would want to ask, and he doesn’t shy away from hard questions either. Way to go Andy!

Really good questions. Interviewer plays both the prosecutor and defence lawyer cross-examination roles interchangebly.

Kyle Beach as a hockey player, other stuff aside, is quite an anomaly. Drafted 11th overall, had incredible numbers in juniors and never played one NHL game? The times that happens usually has something to do with the player themselves. Either not a good teammate, refuses to work hard or doesn’t take directives, acts entitled, bad attitude, big ego from being told by everyone around them how special they are growing up, etc. Not to say this was Kyle Beach, but that it’s often the case when a player drafted so high, doesn’t even get a single game. Also, I find it incredibly hard to believe that a video coach (not the Head, associate or even assistant coach) has any type of sway whatsoever in the organization’s #11 overall draft pick, or even a player on a PTO’s position within the team. A team’s first round pick (especially 11th overall) is HIGHLY valuable to them. More valuable than a video coach frankly. No disrespect to those guys, but having “coach” in their title might make it seem like they are behind the bench and making choices on players minutes, roles, etc. Does anyone actually believe that this pervert video coach derailed Kyle’s career? Kyle being sexually assaulted is flat out wrong and the pervert who did it must be held criminally accountable. But an interesting question could be asked: If Kyle made it to the NHL, would he have even said anything? His numbers in the AHL weren’t even impressive. He spent most of his career in the lowest pro leagues in Europe.

It was very important to remind Andy he won the cup in 96 (minute 2:11) - "I'm an emotional guy, but don't know much about anything that goes on in my locker room." kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXPTg6OXg7dlqsksi=YgQoMuacdVg3Qp9x

I really hope Coach Q gets back in the NHL. He made a mistake but we need to remember he didn’t commit the act. I get that’s gets lost in all of this.

I BELIEVE JOEL QUENVILLE. If Brent Sopel says "People Knew" then the Guys did know, because Brent isnt a liar, also the guys were really close and guys gossip too. If you ask me, Quenville just figured it was something outside of his hands, and that it would be handled the way they handled everything. What I cant understand is why Kyle Beach allowed it to happen. Why didnt he stop it or fight Brad off? Was he drunk or incapacitated? Something in this story is missing. Was Brad a predator? Yes .but I dont understand why Kyle Allowed it to happen.

Thats EXACTLY what I said. I'm sorry, but I cannot feel bad for someone who gets taken advantage of by someone that is much SMALLER than them. Beach is a good 6'2 205 lbs. Aldrich was a little 5'8 nothing guy. Whether the rest of the team knew or not, (not sure I fully believe Sopel) how do you not stand the hell up for yourself? This wasn't a typical big man on small woman, shove the guy for crying out loud. I also don't believe a video coach could have that much pull on the team for Beach to be afraid of. Not buying it.

sounds like you need to educate yourself on power dynamics and the fact that while this is a physical activity, this is a psycholoigcal thing

Also, I may be old, but if 2 employees (trying to relate to the corperate world) have an issue outside of work hours and the office, is it the responsibility of the company to get involved? Maybe sports world is different, but damn, most people would not expect thier personal life actions would get u fired... if i had to fire everyone that had something happen on their personal time, i would have no employees left... granted if they didnt show up for work , the inevitable would happen

Everyone has to be a victim . I still want someone to explain to me how a 5'4 125 lb video coach - forces a 6'3 215 lb hockey player to do something he doesn't want to do - I'll wait for that evidence

@@pjpredhomme7699Kyle Beach is no doubt plays for the pink team but it could be argued that the video coach has sway over his career. I don't know if I buy it though.

@@pjpredhomme7699The video coach is the equivalent to HW? I don't think a video coach had that much sway over anything. I wonder what "bars" Kyle Beach was going to with this coach.
