Would You PROPOSE Here?? The Magical “Red Lotus Sea” - Dreamland in Udon Thani, Thailand

Peaceful almost beyond belief, the ‘Red Lotus Sea’ in Udon Thani, Thailand has been said to be among the Top 10 Most Beautiful Natural Sights in the world.
I had to catch my own breathe for a moment, the appearance of an endless sea of gorgeous lotus hovering just above the water, stretching to the horizon in every direction, it was truly mesmerizing. I actually couldn’t speak!
Li and I enjoyed our time here very much, I’m still SO happy that we were able to visit! Udon Thani is next to Khon Kaen, but as you have to visit early in the morning, in only the cool season of Thailand (not a very large window of time), I just had never made the effort to get here to see this until now!
You have 2 choices - stay on the lake and wake up at dawn (only 1 hotel, and it costs about 40$ a night), or stay in town, rent a car, and wake up well before dawn and drive 40km to the lake. The boat drivers start at 630am, and you’re gonna want to be at the front of the line, the lotus are only open in the cool morning air - it really is something so magical, something you have to do while you’re here!!

Hi @@JoelsTastyRide ! I have, yes. Only the once though, for the wedding of a friend, funnily enough, that was living in Bangkok at the time. I'd love to come back and spend more time, seeing more places when the UK is fully out of lockdown, the Covid cases have stopped and I can afford it. I have some friends that want to return as well - we've been talking about it on and off for a couple of years now.
